Batumi - Georgia 🇬🇪Travel guide | Las Vegas on the Black Sea

Batumi is a bustling resort city, with a beautiful centre and seafront. Its skyline is changing fast and is a mixure of modern architecture and 19th century old city.
It has become known as "Las Vegas on the Black Sea" because of the number of casinos here. They are very popular with people from Turkey, because the border is only 10 miles to the south.
Batumi's popularity is increasing every year and many new hotels and apartments are being built. It's now the 2nd largest city in Georgia, and is well worth a visit.
My wife and I had been wanting to visit Georgia for a long time. After flying into Kutaisi, we then made the journey towards the coast and the resort city of Batumi. We're spending 2 months here before moving onto Tbilisi. In this travel guide, I'll take you on a journey through Batumi.

I liked the older city, but god , the insecure wannabe noticed men racing up and down the street, day and night, and the police do jack shit to stop them. Been here 7 days now, not had a decent night's sleep, can't wait to get out.
Georgian government, police and society really need to do something about this despicable, childish, anti social anti tourist behavior and adopt world protocol.
Getting licenses from mafia in 80s us not an excuse. Most of the dickheads are under 30.
