And the book of right on's right on, it was right on
We should shine a light on, a light on
And the book of right on's right on, it was right on
    [Verse]
Oh now you know we back, apologies due for the intermission
I've been layin' low and layin' back, using my intuition
I've been feelin' a sense of pressure, procrastination's a killer
Workin' to my last breath on the same wavelength as Dilla
No one iller, trying to give you something timeless
Not the fillings, ain't no fakin', no facadin'
Just workin' hard till they feel us, who the realest?
I'm stuck in the underground with the villains
Still have yet to reach my ceiling
I'm pushing dope like I'm coke dealing
Don't listen to people 'cause they know nada
I'm trying to turn this dream that I got into one million dollars
I'm trying to stack my bread till it's old, that mulchy bottom
My mind work like a computer, my process is robotic
My flow's a colonic, this shit there ain't no way you can stop it
Real niggas never die, we multiply, incite the chaotic
Now nigga [?] revolutionary, not the revolution
An equal exchange of energies that's the only solution
Said it's prudent, we still moving
Internalizing all the pain, I found a way to use it
Ingrained inside a nigga brain with all the convolutions
And if you think they got an answer to our problems, then you live in a state of delusion
Through negative aspects, the way that we livin' is complex
[?] division a nigga been giving inside of the content
I'm writin' these rhymes and givin' these lines, I hope they still connect
Still obsessed, still the same as I was when I started
    [Chorus]
We should shine a light on, a light on
And the book of right on's right on, it was right on
We should shine a light on, a light on

      @nothintosay2010 2 года назад

@@brothaman1571 what i think, what i know and the truth are 3 different things.
the lyrics are not to clear.
he says he addresses procrastination on his behalf. and compares himself to feeling like "dilla", the only thing i could find was a hip hop artist in the 90s who "crafted" his last album donuts on his death bed.
he says how he is still underground and sells drugs trying to make it to his dream.
he says about genas revolution, he knows things i dont know and may even be speaking about something or someone i dont know about.
but what i have read about a "genas revolutionary"
mama gena, wasnt born so, she created that name.
something about she lost a son from a broken neck in and swimming and then her husband died a year later. Today, Mama Gena teaches the importance of rupture, of facing tragedy and grief head-on.
she said how a god/goddess is made up of both light and dark.
after he breifly mentions her he says about his pain and finding a way to use it..
he says about negetive aspects cause complex living..
he says hes still the same from when he started, which he is still underground and he knows he hasnt hit his height yet.
id say the dilla part and genas revolution is a big part to understanding what he is trying to get to here.
he definitely speaks of the good book saying to shine a light on it.
i thought the good book was the Bible, but theres a book out called "the good book"
which is similar to the bible from which i read.
The Good Book is an inspired work of insight, wisdom, solace, and commentary on the human condition drawn from the world.
honestly i dont know, maybe hes dealing with something but trying to create an alter ego to better get through it while keeping the faith?
i really dont know. have any ideas?

Thank you. It seems I don’t know you and you don‘t know me, but your music makes me feel understood, gets me to sing and more, so thank you :)
I remember playing this song while in the state of psychosis back in 2020 whatever that may mean. It‘s eleviating knowing there are parts of our soul out here we can connect to without feeling like we‘re alone. Right now it‘s 23:24 on a Sunday evening 2023 where I am writing this comment. You help me think, flow and what not… Sometimes I wonder why I allowed myself to become this self centered, when there are people like you out there. You are an big inspiration (somehow I feel dumb saying things like that because it makes me think I am reducing you to something meaning so little, but the intention and what I really want to express by that outweighs that)
I hope you‘re as fine as ever, don‘t let hate dominate, break down and recreate
