The "Do you bleed? You will." image made my skin crawl BLEEDGASM!!!!!! Thank you for your nice videos. Had to edit my comment: God this is amazing work! Even greater than all those already seen. WoW! You sir is great
Dude, that video was awesome! Great job! I'm a player from Brazil, just starting out, and this was the best tutorial I've seen. It's so detailed and well-made. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for the guide! Alot of good information in this. i feel like even if you pick something other than lacerate this guide has all you need to know about glad/bleed setup to get you going, its been a while since I've done bleed but was thinking about it this league start. I think this guide has sold me.
Thank you so much for putting so much work into this video. I haven't played a league in over a year and I desperately need guides like this to help me. Much appreciated.
Thanks Ronarray!! I am going to be league starting this and your build guide is wonderful. I really enjoyed playing your Shield Bash build in Last Epoch.
Lacerate Bleed Glad was the first character I ever got to t16 maps on back when I started. Very strong and simple character. I'm more interested in the retaliation skills though. Cant wait to experiment with them! Friday needs to hurry up!
Your build Rocks! I decided to make this build my league starter. The gear is so easy for this build. I just bought the Jack with good rolls for 10c, and everything else from the ground. Only items with a bunch of resistance, a few stats (intelligence) and armour, 100 regen per second and nothing else. I look at my Inventory and I think: This is trash! But my damage itself say otherwise. Up to lvl 30-35 I have a hard time with damage, a few rare monster were taking 10 hits to die, but after that, when u hit the "Axe" nodes, your damage Skyrocket and becomes too powerfull, honestly. The campaign became trivial. None of the bosses has a little bit of challenge, cause they were not able even to deal damage to my character and they just died too fast. I'm doing tier 15 maps, and feels like a walk in the park. This build just have too many defensive layers, its not easy to die if u know what you are doing. The only downside for me is the Skill itself, Lacerate have a very Range limited and Small AoE. But if u can "Tank" that, you will Tank everything in the game. Truste me!
Love your videos! I used one of your guides last league and really liked it so I am going to league start this. Guides are always well thought out, PoBs area clean and organized, can't ask for much more! Keep it up!
The new quality on Vulnerability also adds 10% additional chance to aggravate, which in combination with Bloodletting could make it worth forgoing Jagged Technique in favor of another Ascendancy since you're hitting frequently enough with Lacerate.
Cool guide, i used it on the weekend for leaguestart with some changes, (eg cyclone+brutality+chancetobleed for "tempo" -mapping after kitava, and using lacerate only when something stronger appeared ) very smooth leveling experience, exploding things everywhere after first ascendancy. :) Very tanky. Thank you for the detailed tree / item description! One quick addition: in the guide you use "help alira", but with the two point from _not_ helping her, you can allocate "Cloth and Chain" so from the two point you get +16% ele res AND armor and evasion inc also. :) Other node: Eviscerate is good for "taunting" the whole screen, even if not so "supported", if you dont mind pressing more buttons, i recommend (and in this patch got insane amount of dmg )
@@mylesmiller5979 true, i saw only now the rework... if there is any point in the tree which gives less evasion/armour increase than these two point, i think this alternative option still better, but not an "always-true upgrade"
good work. will keep an eye on your build progression. I saw Carn's lacerate pob, there was like about 26m dps. but the problem is he likes to drop full end game versions of pobs without progression. I will very appreciate if next videos will be this format too. very easy and understandable to how to progress character. much creators missing that 70% or more are newbies or non regular poe players and don't even know how to find timeless jewels for example. and they will be stucked on some build stages cause don't know how to upgrade further with budget gaps in that builds. anyway - all the best & bless your soul. wish you good start.
Thank you for the nice words - i will do an endgame version as well when league will start, have ideas for sure. And yeah I will work on more in depth starter videos and other recommendations. Cheers and stay tuned!
Very well made video, I love the structure of your presentation. It all makes sense. I'm going with this build for league Start. As long as it takes me to T16. It's good enough for me. Slava Ukraine!
If you have not already watched it, I highly recommend you watch the video ifnjeff made today and the incredibly detailed spreadsheet on bleed he created. It may help guide you with some decisions in end game.
For EQ just use seismic cry for extra AoE and extra chance to aggrevate for exerted attacks. You will end up with total 45% chance which is more than enough. Jagged Technique is not a good node. I would skip it even with fast attacking builds.
Amazing guide, so much thought put into, thanks! As a beginner builder but intermediate crafter, it would be great to see the lvl 100 item setup in pob, like really endgame craft gear,- something to work for in long term. 96lvl is kinda generic and no so hard to get via craft, and me being not good at building I have no clear guide what to do past the 96 gear for this lacerate bleed build.
@@ronarray it is great that you are league starting this as well, it will be very helpful to follow your progress. I wonder if cluster jewels will come into the build eventually?
Hi, this was very helpful. Thank you for the in depth explanations of the mechanics of the build and why it works. I try to make my own builds and that isn't going to stop now, but it is always nice to come across a good guide that explains choices. Do you have advice for a build using Olesya's instead of Ryslatha?
This build looks pretty fun, but what content is it good at? I'd like to focus on Harvest/Expedition and maybe Legion this league but i'm still fairly new. Thanks!
Thanks for the guide! Ill be playing this for my starter, have you considered the farruls gloves since crimson dance bleed and normal bleed count as two different bleeds and can stack?
Hello bro first of all I would like to thank you for this detailed and very good build guide, really very very good and easy to understand. I have 2 questions for you: Is there a loot filter that can/should be used? Will you make a min/max variant? Since I would like to play the build until the late endgame
As a lootfilter normal neversink will do. About min max (I will league start it myself - you can check my twitch) so yeah. Endgame version will be there. Thank you for supporting man!
Someone on r/PathOfExileBuilds did a simulation breaking down CD vs aggravated, don't have it in front of me atm but I believe the breakpoint for aps was around 9-10. So potentially a late game respec, but for the campaign and early map progression aggravated seems like the way to go. The wider your spread from min to max damage is, the more aps you will need to make CD outperform aggravated, so if you want to force it for some reason, probably don't run volatility support
Doing a bit later league start and I love the bleed archetype. Was wondering how good the scalability of this build is. (Something I can use all league and pump currency or not)
I'm only 3 leagues in so this detailed guide helps A LOT, thank you! I've been trying lacerate in Act1 just to get the feel of things but it feels bad to wait for the second slash as I'm constantly moving Is this a unique playstyle for lacerate or will it improve as I scale? Can't wait for 3.25 anyway, thanks again for the amazing guide :)
It will improve as you scale - if you dislike the playstyle in the early game - replace Lacerate with Sunder (supports are the same) until you get to lvl 30-40, it can make it better experience. Cheers!
Great build so far, I do have one question. Why the node Axe Mastery for increased damage while in blood stance/increased damage while in sand stance....i don't see anywhere in the build where this would be useful...unless I missed something?
Hey ronarray thanks for the build and the investet time ! I have just one question, can you explain the difference between your build and the Zizaran build ? Dont wanna judge or criticise, if something is better or worese, i just wanna learn what the differences are and if there are differences in playstyle ?
Hey there - I just generally have more in depth guide, otherwise the main difference is Blood magic for Ziz so no mana issue but my version is tankier since I can have auras. Cheers!
Thanks for the guide, very impressive. Do you think Vaal pact has any room in the late game of this build? I know the downside seems pretty bad on paper.
Build looks solid, cheers mate. The only thing I'm questioning is whether you'll really get 100% uptime on the endurance charges without having Enduring Cry. If I decide to play Glad, I think I'm going to work in an Enduring Cry gem which would also come in handy to offset damage over time situations.
Well, we have 2 sources for Endurance - you can check the timestamp in the video where I'm talking about it. But you can easily add Enduring Cry - it will be even better.
Thanks for this build. Do you think Perfect agony will be viable ? Then i assume you need to drop Resolute Technique and change the build completly. Would be interessting to have an updated builder going this route !
Yo nice guide! Its been sometime haven't play a bleedplosion build.I was wondering what setup can i change to make it more gear towards clear speed, like the old days of cf glad. Im ok with sacrificing some damage to do that. Maybe swap earthquake, or what general skill excel more in clear.
Hey man nice content! I was wondering about late game uniques and the new enchant system that allow us to enchant an equipment with an unique mod, do you have something in mind that can be good?
Hard to say for now - we don't have a full list but I will work on endgame version for it and will come up with smth - check my twitch for updates live or just youtube when I post Engame vesion. Cheers!
can i ask what bandit option do you recommend ? i wanted to go for alyra for the extra res since im a new player so im not sure if ill be able to cap resistances well, are any other choices like a lot better ?
Nope, FAQ just confirmed most of the stuff we assumed. Jagged technique can be dropped in the endgame tho when you will have high APS but we guessed it before just fine. Cheers!
Hey, thanks so much for this - how do you think it would work with other skills, for example sunder seemed really good for leveling, shield charge for mapping or even heavy strike (melee splash from tree) for insane upfront phys damage?
Out of interest how would you scale shield charge or leap slam, I like the idea of mega bleed movement skill for map clear! Also, what’s your thoughts on SST or Shield Crush for bleed glad?
Honestly, I'm a little bummed they removed Arena Challenger from Gladiator. The increase in movement and attack speed was a godsend for Lacerate, since it allowed you to bleed-fish for Crimson Dance much faster, while allowing you to reposition quicker. I'm also worried that melee will feel very clunky early game in general, since many early sources of attack speed were removed. I'm really hoping the normalized attack animations will help with this issue. Still, this build looks promising, and I wish to see it succeed in the upcoming league!
@thebrokendeck hey, leveling is going great so far. I'm using sunder and it's working well. I am following Ziz's guide on this build but I am thinking respecing into this for maps.
You can use sunder as a replacement in mine just fine - not a lot of reasons to go Blood Magic since you will lose a lot of cool tech (such as automation of curses) which is great after act 6.
As someone who never plays melee but wants to cook, this is exactly the guide I needed to answer all my smooth brained questions. Thank you for the depth.
Just wanted to clarify something. Cruelty support only grants full cruelty buff which is 40% dot dmg only if you hit for a certain amount of ailment threshhold. This could work in maps but not on pinnacle bosses since your hit dps is around 50k. According to wiki your hit dmg should be more than 224k to get the full 40% dot bonus ( example is given for shaper). What other support gem would you use instead of cruelty on pinnacle bosses?

Thanks for this build. Do you think Perfect agony will be viable ? Then i assume you need to drop Resolute Technique and change the build completly. Would be interessting to have an updated builder going this route !
I will explore Perfect Agony in the endgame version for sure - Cheers!
thank you for the guide! do you also, maybe, have a lootfilter made?
Just a normal never sink would be enough I think, my personal lootfilter hides 95% of stuff and is unplayable for most people.
Just change Lacerate with Sunder and use everything the same as in the video. Cheers!
@Ronarray jack the axe is a very good weapon alternative until you get the proper unique axe
Yeah, exactly - I have jack in my POB right there too.
Cheers!
Is there a certain loot filter you would use for this build? Thanks again for the video its amazing
Thank you for the nice words - basic Neversink filter will do.
@@ronarray Thank you for the response and goodluck on your league start!
Would you look at that. Few days ago I was following your judgement build for last epoch and now I will shamelessly copy your lacerate. Cheers.
Cheers to you man! Hit me on twitch if you will need any help
Melee yesssss
My reaction to the announcement!
nice work
Thank you very much - trying my best!
Now we have seen the retaliate skills, what do you think about adding in the lacerate type one for mega boss damage on block?
That sounds interesting for sure but I would need to test them before recommending any.
can i ask what bandit option do you recommend ? i wanted to go for alyra for the extra res since im a new player so im not sure if ill be able to cap resistances well, are any other choices like a lot better ?
The POB recommends Alira. you can adjust this in end game if you are overcapped on ele res and want either the life or movement speed instead
It is Alira - 15% to all res worth 1 point. Cheers!
Hey what are your thoughts on Vaal Pact this league? thanks for the video I will be following this guide as a veteran!
You have a loot filter to go with this? Nice job, will be going with this for league start. Gl gl
In POE it is easier to just use a Neversink filter - it will be enough. And thank you for the nice words. Cheers!
What about HC or SSF content? Will I be able to do it if I decide to go for this build?
Yeah, build is pretty friendly for both HC and SSF.
PoB now allow you to setup sets of tree, gear and gems, so there is no need now to select them manually
Will check this feature later on.
Thanks for the build, Sir!
Recently GGG posted a FAQ with an explanation of how aggravate bleeding works. Does it change something for the build?
Nope, FAQ just confirmed most of the stuff we assumed. Jagged technique can be dropped in the endgame tho when you will have high APS but we guessed it before just fine. Cheers!
Hey, thanks so much for this - how do you think it would work with other skills, for example sunder seemed really good for leveling, shield charge for mapping or even heavy strike (melee splash from tree) for insane upfront phys damage?
Will 100% work just fine with sunder. Shield charge is totally different so - no. Heavy is interesting - I will need to test it.
Out of interest how would you scale shield charge or leap slam, I like the idea of mega bleed movement skill for map clear! Also, what’s your thoughts on SST or Shield Crush for bleed glad?
Thanks im gonna try it
Thank you for watching too - hit me on twitch or check timestamps if you have questions.
Do you think this build will be good enough for doing some oppenheimer expedition/blights early on?
Hard to predict for expedition but certainly yes for blight -I'm going to paly it myself to check my twitch on league start to see for yourself haha
Thanks for the video! How is everyone finding the dmg on this build in maps? I'm working through the campaign at them moment.
how was lvling for you? thinking about playing this build
You can check my own mapping on streams (both RUclips or Twitch ones) but generally it works pretty well.
@@ronarray thank you, I'll check your stream. I appreciate your comments!
thank you dawg
Thank YOU for watching haha
great detailed build, i believe lacerate of hemorraige i goint to be xpensive, can u use normal alcerate till u can buy lacerate of hemorrage?
yes. But don't be afraid to run the 3rd lab a few times. You may be able to find it yourself. Run it before you fight Kitava.
That's a great suggestion and can be helpful.
As someone who never plays melee but wants to cook, this is exactly the guide I needed to answer all my smooth brained questions. Thank you for the depth.
Thank you for watching and stay tuned for more great stuff!
You are 100% right about that - Deadly ailments can replace cruelty for such encounters.
