  • The Oregon Hikers and Climbers group (and the subgroups for snow sports and major summits) has been the single most incredible community I've found. Chock full of people who are so psyched for outdoor adventure and so willing to dedicate their time and resources to mentor, organize, and support people like myself new to the mountains. I've spent so much time getting outdoors alone because I couldn't find partners to go with. Now I have a whole community and the depth of my gratitude cannot be expressed. These are just a fraction of the adventures I've shared. To many more y'all!

This is great. Seems like a nice group. I haven't gone out with them but keep meaning to get involved.

Hey totally! Theres so much! For southern Oregon my favorite is probably Brown Mountain which is right across from Mt McLoughlin, another excellent spot if you can push past the never ending bramble of trees. I’ve been really wanting to check out Tummalo Mountain and the couloirs on Broken Top. Theres also so much to do on Hood! My favorite tour out there has been Split Rock

@@Off_the_beaten_path Awesome, thank you for the recommendations! I'm in Bend and just getting into backcountry, super stoked for this season, and just trying to avoid any avalanche zones, ha!
