- OpenAI’s SORA model took everyone by surprise and while we’ve yet to get hands-on with the text-to-video AI model, there’s some interesting other videos buried on OpenAI’s website about the video-to-video capabilities of SORA.
It’s remarkable to see how it can handle style transfers across the board and, of course, it’s not perfect and has a ways to go, you can see how this aspect of it could be nearly as powerful as the text-to-video version and help filmmakers or video game creators transform their worlds.
AI was supposed to take the boring jobs, not the creative ones!

We are already making leaps in the gaming industry right now with unreal engine 5. In a few years video games will be unrecognizable. But I fear that consumer hardware can't really keep up with the fast pace that technology is evolving currently.

update: seems it's here, saw a vid about short animation AI that requires a start frame and an end frame to produce short animation sequences on a loop, with any anime style

While that’s convenient for the watchers it just takes the job of animators and absolutely sucks the soul out of animations lol. there’s only so many studios out there that actually put effort into the animations their artists make and wouldn’t fire their animators for more “convenient” ai, In a perfect world there would be room for both ai shows for people who want fast entertainment and for hand animated shows for people who want to appreciate the hard work of artists, but that world simply doesn’t exist. A lot of already have issues with people not being able to earn livable wages and we don’t need ai taking more people’s jobs and making the issue so much worse lol

But still it takes millions to make movies and if we can purchase Sora subscription for 100 dollars per month then it is way cheaper than that
Once we get over the fear of advancements in technology, overcome and utilize it to our advantage instead of it crippling the workforce and livelihoods, we will advance exponentially into an incredible future.

Yeah I have witnessed a few things they announce and people run with half the info on all the videos never to return to the other half of info. The only thing I can figure out is people copy other people rather than read because usually those other bit of info is right there on there release page. For instance they said they increased computing to achieve a lot of things and nobody ever mentioned it. Mean while they couldn’t figure out why sora seemed more real. But it’s right there in the release page. Showing different degrees of computing and how it effects the output.

I have an Android TracFone with a Sound Studio App.
I have used this in practice articulating a Message that I want to share with Humanity.
This low tech phone doesn't have sharing audio file functions ... So these Audio Recordings seam to be stranded on this phone's storage drive.
I am just wondering if Sora has a way for me to upload an audio file ( 1 Hour in duration of raw information) that can somehow be converted to text or transcript, then to video or the Audio file, uploaded, then played by Sora henceforth voice to text that would then be converted to Video format animating the content of the information into visual images while the audio is playing in the background , so to speak, Hence Audio to Video.
If not, then I think this would be a greater innovation that needs to be developed. This alone would be a great service provider and become a new billion-dollar service industry.
I actually have more than 100 audio files that I would like to convert to transcript then consolidated into a world class Best Selling Book on the planet!
The gist of the message is knowing how to evolve Human Consciousness and Creat Heaven on Earth! 🌍

The thing is, people are already doing that. A few months back I remember seeing kwebblekop practically hand his channel over to ai. The ai writes the scripts, plays the games, heck he even made a realistic ai version of himself. Ai is starting to ruin careers on the artistic side and no one’s batting an eye

With actors these people look so real but they're not meaning if it gets over an hour long generate rate like other things we'll be out of a job it's not bad step forward its a step into a pit of taking away jobs that shouldn't even be able to be replaced by machine.

The risks only relate to politics and propaganda and I'm sure they'll put in place a video verification process to prevent such issues. However Artist's who are upset about this need to rethink their creative form and utilise such tech; not that video generation has anything to do with artists anyway this Is for those who want to be able to create high quality film with no budget and bring ideas to life, Sora is the future of cinematography and film creation and that's it.

This is pretty depressing, I understand that this is coming and we cant just avert our eyes and all but come on.
The last few interesting and fun jobs on the planet are going to be taken over by AI so we can focus on the horrible tedium of work and all the things that suck in life more effectively... I don't see any point to this technology, why isn't AI helping us work less and enjoy life more instead of us having to work more and more effectively for gradually lowering profit.
