Do you prefer a parallel or converging zero?

You are not considering the offset. The laser never has to concur with the shot.

Students were put on a convergent zero for this class due to the simplicity. It POA / POI. I will converge my laser with my dot to get me close to where I want to be. After that I will turn off the dot and zero the laser independently to POA / POI. This is ideally done at 50 yards, but we were limited to a 25 yard range. I taught them the principles and then adapted the zero to work within our environment for the class. Hope this helps
