Aww the sweet sound of an EMD prime mover.
Thank you for watching.EMD's were the light SD40E helper set that went by first. The train with the new locomotives were GE's.
Still get a far awake look in my eye when I hear an old train in the night!
I like the forest, even more equipped with a train.

Great catch!
Glad you enjoyed it
🚂 Awesome videos. Subbed ! 👍🏻
Thank you. Thank you.
These units are GE BB40-9W aren't they? Meaning they're 8 axles B-B+B-B truck placements meant for the narrow gauge or tracks with lower carrying capacity per axle...
Dash 9s are rather old technology it's interesting whether these are newly made in Erie,PA or some old refurbished ones exported to country with less strict environmental laws??
Could be. A BB+BB track placement is correct. They are new made in Erie, PA. Thank you for watching.
Yes those units are CLN's BB40-9W
Awesome catch!
Thank you.
Just curious, where are the trucks?
Usually export locomotives are shipped with the trucks on flat cars in the same train.
That was my thought also but I have no idea. Thank you very much for watching.
From reading comments it seems that they're bound for Mozambique, There's another video that has the bogies/trucks following on rail cars. I suspect that they might be made somewhere else. ruclips.net/video/YIoCTT_idmA/видео.html
Very nice catch!
Thank you.

You said it Dale.
Great Catch
Thank you.
Your Welcome
High dollar load right there!
I agree. Thank you for watching.
Found some interesting information about these locos:
They are eight axle narrow gauge locos (similar to the locos VALE uses in Brazil).
The bogies may have been sent another route, because the flatcars with the loco bodies did exceed height restrictions (not quite sure about this teh page i found this was in Spanish) ;)
Ths locos get partially armoured, especially the cabs.
Thank you for watching. Yes these are the same locomotives as the locomotives that VALE mining uses in Brazil.
I might watch Silver Streak tonight. That's is I don't game.😁
Thank you for watching.
New locomotivas, Vale 🇧🇷/ Nakala logístic , Moçambique africa.

The scenery Beautiful in this video. I noticed the rock slide protection along the tracks. First time I have seen it in this type of set up. How far out of town is this location? Thanks for a very good video.
Thank you for watching John. This was the Pennsylvania Railroads line over the Allegheny Mountains Just west of Altoona, Pennsylvania. It is just over 4 and a half hour drive from where I live. I was Just down there for five days. I shot lots of video.

Great catch! Where are they going?
Thank you. I don't know. Kyle Best says they're going to a African Mining company and there is more in Erie at the GE plant.
***** Oh okay cool.
ruclips.net/video/XmbJKwIkSzA/видео.html Judging by the paint shame they're going to Mozambique
Courage Cougar That explains why they went through the trouble of putting the locomotives on flat cars instead of towing them on their own wheels. Mozambique uses a narrower 3-foot 6-inch rail gauge, and I believe they also have some 2’-6” gauge rails too.
quadruple main line at one time
+Tejasnite
