Once I hatched a cracked egg and I thought I wasn’t gonna get a legendary but I actually got a dragonfly which is legendary

unless you meant "in adopt me today" there are actually 2 other eggs that is also impossible to get a common and those to eggs are the jungle egg and the safari egg so just a fyi
My best luck is as a kid a traded a unicorn for a giraffe, I was so sad and tried to get the unicorn back. I am so sad my computer broke and I lost that account 😞 but I also got a cactus friend on my fourth desert egg!
