This was tough to watch because it didn’t seem like you were very well versed on the topic being discussed. Some people weren’t aware of what has been going on in the media regarding Ye, but it seemed like you weren’t able to really explain it to those who were unaware. Anti-Semetic is just a word that shuts down conversations. Kanye never said anything about Arabs - and they are a semetic people. Its not really a good opener when you want a honest opinion off a member of the public. Anti-Semetic the term, is used to shut covnversation. It is a word used to protect Jewish people from actual honest observations people of other races/religions might have about them. Kanye pointed out to the power that a particular group of jews have in the media. He was then shut down. It only proves he has a point. It's not like he's punching down - if anything he's punching up. Everyday people say things about whites - are they ever shut down for doing so? Nope. Say something about jews. - Bye bye Bank account.

Andrew I love the format, I will say you might want to think about asking less leading questions. Unless thats intentional! A lot of these you may influence an answer by the way the question is asked. For instance, telling an interviewee what Kanye said then asking a reaction could be better than "he doesnt like jews what do you think?" Great series, just a way to take it up a notch and let people's true thoughts flow out.
I agree, Kanye stated he doesnt hate jews so I think that line of questioning is a bit misleading. Maybe worded like "Kanye claims that Jews have corrupted the media, what do you think about that?" Idk it is much easier and a bit humorous to just say he hates them but not everyone gets the context or joke and may take what you say at face value. If they feel Andrews bias then they're less likely to express themselves truthfully. Andrew Callaghan does this so beautifully by literally doing the least amount of talking as possible and introducing the subject lightly. The last girl was was smart enough to understand the scope of the project, but the BoneThugs fan was not. LAHWF has been doing this for years tho so who am I lmao
If Andrew had led with "Kanye's been losing a lot of business deals because he claims Jewish people are overrepresented in positions of power; do you think there's any merit to that?" it would probably have produced wider-ranging conversation. But I don't think Andrew wants to thoughtfully probe that issue with his RUclips channel.

And it’s not this video specially, I’ve noticed in all Andrew’s recent vids. I don’t mean just rephrase the question better, if you want to get a good response from what someone said publicly then you should probably quote them or read the tweet, etc.
I also like open ended questions. But asking “you think nofap is as good an idea as they say” vs “whats you take on it?”
Because there are certain things that are wrong and shouldn’t be treated as normal questions. If Kanye said we should exterminate all Jews, would you really prefer Andrew phrase that as “Kanye has said that we need some kind of final solution to the Jewish problem, what are your thoughts on that” Really?? Are you also a Nazi?

This was a great vast sample of different people. I have never given a shit about Kanye or his music so I don’t have an opinion besides that it seems like he likes attention. I loved the black guys they were fun and chill. I agree that every single life does matter and that’s not a dig at anybody.

This whole idea that Kanye is crazy and needs to be medicated is wild. I don’t agree with everything he says but I’m also not gonna completely write off a dude who has been in the industry for as long as he has. Theres definitely truth to what hes saying, its just the way hes saying it that is inflammatory. The fact you can claim slavery is a choice and keep all your branding yet bring up anything about Jews being control and getting cancelled, that is almost proving his point.

Seems like Kanye has been popping up more recently. It’s apparent to us that the algorithm favors him a lot more than most of us expect.
It’s because he’s such a big celebrity, he has so many fans and his influence runs much deeper in fashion, media and music than most people realize I think
"he's a bit off his meds" Yep. People who aren't bipolar can't contemplate. Because the meds take away from your true personality in a sense. The creativity, the drive, the passion. But it's a paradox, because you have to take them otherwise you fall into paranoia, hallucinations, deep depression, intense anxiety, mania, etc. I think Kanye was "elevated" late at night when he went off on Jews. And that's not right no matter the context. But the man is admirable in so many other things that he's done. And to me, the greatest thing he's done and is still doing is standing up for freedom of thought, free speech, breaking free from stereotypes, and in general not allowing ourselves to be controlled by authority and popular opinion
