    Commercial sparky here, I've been looking into this, looks like I'm getting one, all the features you outlined are exactly why I want it, great to know it's good! the fact they sell it in hi-vis is so good

    Best review on this vest I've seen, thanks.
    Been going back n forth between this 701 and the Atlas 46 saratoga vest..

    • @Warren3carpentry
      @Warren3carpentry  2 года назад

      I bought the atlas first, then sent it back it's heavier and thicker so I'm sure it would be much warmer also in the summer!

      Damn.. okay..
      Was hoping to find someone with experience with both.. I can only compare by pictures.. The Atlas does look heavier and hotter to wear in the Oklahoma heat, but has all those pockets for phone, pads, etc that the 701 doesn't have..
      Did it seem to you the 701 was just as quality built and durable under load and just as funtional over all?

    • @Warren3carpentry
      @Warren3carpentry  2 года назад

      @@BouncyThrone the 701 is a very well built vest, however I did have mine replaced once already because the back straps tore on me. I made a video on that also. They had me a new vest in 2 days

    • @Warren3carpentry
      @Warren3carpentry  3 года назад

      I bought this for one main reason to start with. That was the pain I was having in my hips from my toolbelt digging in. It's been an awesome vest I will never go back.... however it is almost unbearable hot in July where I live and it can be a pain if you wear bibs in the wintertime. But its all I use now!!

    How fitting are these vests? I live in north Dakota where i might need to wear something under it. Would i get the size i normally wear or a size up?

    • @Warren3carpentry
      @Warren3carpentry  Год назад

      I have a large and it's tight. I can wear a hoodie under it but it's tight. Only problem I run into is when I have to wear bibs. Then I can't wear the vest.

    What are your thoughts on this setup for more interior work in assuming that’s what it’s kinda geared towards?

    • @Warren3carpentry
      @Warren3carpentry  7 месяцев назад

      Its ok. It has its draw backs and its strengths. I have had 2 of these vests and had to have them both repaired twice do to failed stichings. Its very hot in the middle of summer and a pain when u want to wear something thicker like a hoodie under it in the cold because iys very tight!

    • @salient2849
      @salient2849 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@Warren3carpentryI see I appreciate the response now with interior work I’d be mainly in a T-shirt as I wouldn’t be dealing with the elements and so I don’t think that my atire change would matter too much, that’s not a good sign that they’ve had stitching failed
