This is me! I have always needed to hear this an answer to my life and now that I seriously did and said and followed through on what I believed it's so amazing to hear this I am so blessed to hear the words in this video thank thank you
I prayed every day for 10 years for my daughter to talk to me after she cut me out of her life. I was allowed to call her on her birthday 1x a year. On her 50th b-day she answered the phone. 🙌🏼🔥 To me these Gentiles the Centurion, the Canaanite woman & the Good Samaritan all have the love of the Father in them. If the Father gave them to Jesus He is not going to deny what He can give. Their Faith is unwavering.
I find that this is one of the most comforting stories in the Gospels. The fact that our LORD does not deny the dogs when they beg for crumbs means that no sinner ever need despair when they approach Him for mercy.
Thats a leap - it means that if gentiles except the postion below the children they can receive crumbs - christ tells exactly why the woman got a crumb in "mark 7:29"
@@larrybranowski3171 Friend, I dare say you do not quite understand the comfort some of us draw from this story. In the well-known parable, when the prodigal returned to his father, he did not dare to ask for his sonship to be restored, rather that he may be accepted only as a hired servant, and so it is with many awakened sinners under a sense of their sin. Yet, if the sinner, dog though he is in his own eyes and from his great guilt not daring to ask to be accepted as a son, turn and submit himself to the LORD, it is shown here that the LORD will be abundantly merciful even to such dogs. (And in reality, do most of us all not fit the description of "dogs"? Except for some of us who can claim Jewish heritage, we are ultimately the descendants of wicked pagans, whom God in His sovereignty had left in the dark to worship creeping and crawling things for millennia and had no reason to have any regard for us when the time comes to bestow any of His graces) Our LORD is so great that even the "crumbs" that fall from His table would be all that we puny sinners ever need (the blessing is a great thing to us, but a tiny insignificant thing to him as a crumb) and far more than we deserve. In our Master's house, the dog's portion is yet far superior than if you should have the portion of the greatest king in the world. Perhaps you would do well to examine your own concept of "faith". When faith starts looking at itself and its greatness as the cause of receiving the blessing, I dare say it has completely lost the plot.
Thank you so much Pastor Tim. Just after I was praying for something I’ve been praying for several weeks now, I saw this message in my notifications. A message from the Lord. Thank you for reminding us Pastor.
True food for me this morning!!! Thank you. RUclips is such a blessing and a curse at the same time. Pray that the children of God will always only choose good food for their soul. Because you are what you feed yourself with
I do pray the God's children do feed themselves only with good food. It has been heavy on my heart for a long time. I find it very disheartening when preachers use dishonest bibles to preach from. See: Look What's Missing even in Revelation. There are bibles cursed by God. [The ESV is one of them.] And, Deadly Translation NKJV. They are taken from the Alexandrian manuscripts called the Vaticanus from the Vatican basement, or Codex B. Another is called the Sianiticus from a monestary. They continually and constantly ask, Did God say? Did God say Mark 11:26??? Absolutely. It is an essential part of our walk with God! Did God say Acts 15:34? Why wouldn't He? That verse shows God's providence. He would not have been available when Paul needed him. He was a mature Christian and able to handle the persecution they received far better than young Mark. Did God really say, Damnation? Yes, 11 times. Did He give at least three witnesses to it? Yes. Mark 9:44, 46, 48. Their bibles make it weaker with only one of the three. In fact Mark 9:43-48 stresses hell. Jesus is also a man. Did God say 'this man' regarding Jesus. Yes His word gives witness of His word. Did God say, "But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins, sat down on the right hand of God; Hebrews 10:12. Did He give more witness to it? Did God say, 'this man' in Hebrews 3:3, 7:24 and 8:3. Yes, God's witnesses. God gave curses to those who changed His word. How much more for those who promote the 'bibles' that do? And those who honor the cursed bibles?
I havvevbeen pray8ng to Gd to heal.my daughter for yea5s and l will not give up.l am thanking God now. I believe he will l will never stop. I believe in miracles.l believeb in God.
Thank you Pastor Tim - that was a great encouragement. I am waiting on the Lord for healing. I have gone through the agonising and pleading phase, the doubting phase (am I really good enough, and is it really Your will for me?), to the joyous phase of just soaking in God's Word and seeing how He wants us to have such excitement in His truth. I am now moving into the praise and thankfulness stage where doubts about my own self are vanishing, and I am thanking and praising God for His Word - whatever the outcome. Having escaped the Word of Faith Movement many years ago I was almost reluctant and fearful to 'claim' healing for myself - but now I am developing a more balanced outlook - but with joyful expectation. God wants the best for His children. Will He give them a stone when they ask for bread?
@Nes im Holz2 Although some of what you say is true - you come across as full of fear and unbelief. A total commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ will give you peace and take away your fear. Don't worry your little head about the mark of the beast - it is not a vaccine. A gift of discernment will show you what is unbiblical (Pre-Trib Rapture, RCC, TV, worldliness, clothing indeed) but it will not turn you into a conspiracy theorist. Total trust in the Lord and obedience to His will - will get you through my friend.
I saw "Ask Pastor Tim" in the title, and I was afraid it would be Tim Keller trying to twist the account of the Syrophoenician woman into the Social Justice "Gospel". I'm glad to see it's brother Conway; I look forward to hearing his perspective on this text.
