    BLI = break line indicator I think. Fun video. I’m really enjoying the heck out of my Skytrak and JNPG.

      Hello Domingo. It can be done! I certainly am not rich by any stretch of the imagination. I saved for almost 10 years to get this setup and built it myself along with my wife by hand. I hope to still upgrade over time someday but am happy with the design. Hope you are well Domingo! Thanks for supporting the channel.

    You have a small metallic ringing in your audio. It would help to get rid of that. I like how your channel is basic and to the point. Not very gimmicky which is cool. Thanks for giving us guys who are dying to get a simulator a nice reference

    Ok, so a couple questions I think you could cover. 1). A video on where you are placing the ball in accordance with the dot and shot type(driver, iron, wedge chip putt). Also I use birtee’s. They are tall enough with a 7 or 8. Size type. Lighting conditions would be nice to know.

      Also how did you get the shot information up on the screen while you are playing JNPG AND SKYTRAK. AWESOME

      Thanks Chad. I will try and work on that for the next video. The ball with Skytrak though just has to be placed right on the dot that is shining on the mat. It is important that the ball actually reflects the light from the Skytrak and that the dot is not behind the ball for it to read the shots. This applies for Iron Shots, Wedges, Putting, etc. For driver shots you want to place the tee exactly where the light is shining. It typically reads driver shots quite well. In my sim for lighting it was quite dark so I placed 6 can lights around the area where I am hitting for plenty of light. The Skytrak will read the golf ball though even in dark lighting but for video purposes I needed more light.

      Ok, this is a bit detailed. So for this I am using a program called Xsplit to show the different screens at the same time (Webcam, Game Capture, Garage Golf Image, etc. It is a free download if you google it. For the screen portion that shows the ball data, make sure to download the PG companion app. You can find it on the play store or apple store if you search Perfect Golf. Once you have the app downloaded you need to pair it to Jack Nicklaus Perfect Golf while the game is running. To do this go to the command line of your pc or search for the command prompt. Type in "ipconfig" and hit enter. You are looking for the IPv4 address line. That has to match what shows up on the home page of the application to connect. Once you enter this on the app hit connect and it will connect at that time if they match accordingly. For the data to show up you must be in the game with a course open. There are multiple screens on the app at that point but I use the shot info tab. Once you have them paired you are good to go with that step.
      For how I got it to show up on XSplit, I then downloaded a free app called Air Droid. You can use a program on there called "Air Mirror" in which your computer will mirror anything that is showing up on your tablet or phone. You need to download this app on your pc and on your phone/tablet. The website walks you through the steps of connecting the two together. Here is a link to a good RUclips video on how to do this also. ruclips.net/video/BKIoOXuXh2A/видео.html Once they are linked all you have to do is go into XSplit and use the screen capture feature under add devices and click on the part of your screen that shows the airmirror item showing the PG App and it will show up on XSplit.
      I know this is a lot but hope this helps!!

    Great vid! Love your setup! How do you get the ball data for each shot to show up like I see in the lower right hand part of this video? I use Skytrak with JNPG as well. I love the combination!

      Thanks Joe. Glad you liked it. It's a bit lengthy but I had sent it to another viewer before so I copied and pasted it here.

    Another good video, and another question :) How did you get your ball trace to blue???

      Ok. So two ways to do this. One is a temporary way you would have to do each time. While in game, hit F8 and type in the word "Game". You will find a line title Game Tracer Color. You can change this to any color you want by putting the html code for your color of choice in the line. So for blue you for example you can put in 0,0,255.
      However, the easier way would be to use a command prompt to automatically have the sim change the color for you everytime you open it. Here's a link on how to do it. onlinegolftour.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3418 Don't get confused on the fourth set of numbers. If you see the person added a 4th set of numbers to the RGB code which in his case was 199. I went on the Discord app and was assured you don't have to put that in there. Let me know if you have questions on this method and I can walk you through it in more detail. This is what I did for mine so I don't have to change it each time. The white tracer was always boring to me and blended with the ball anyway so it had to go!!

    What kind of hitting mat are you using?

    • @GarageGolf
      @GarageGolf  6 лет назад

      Hello. It is a Fiberbuilt Studio mat and it is by far the best I have found after a ton of research. Allows you to hit down and through the golf ball with no pain.
