- A doctor and his daughter are forced to deal with the subject of abortion in this penetrating drama. They are both hit with the issue head on, but from different sides, and both of them are forced to make a choice. This movie presents the truth about the subject, the choice at hand, the cost on both sides of the issue, and Christ. There are consequences to the decisions and choices we make in life...and some of them...are deadly.

I am now watching this movie. It inspires me to stand up for Godly principles more than ever. We can't serve the world and God at the same time. I am so glad that you are showing this. No matter what the outcome is. It's not worth losing your soul for the world

One important theme this movie brings to light . . .be careful with whom you allow to teach your children! You need to know who is teaching your children and the advice/mentoring they are offering! Just because someone has a degree to "teach" does not mean they should be "teaching" your child!
We send children to be with people we DO NOT EVEN KNOW, who teach them only GOD KNOWS WHAT for 7-8 hours for 5 days a week. And we wonder why we have issues with our youth?
We must seek to "Train up a child in the way he should go . . ." (Proverbs 22:6) . . .it is our job to train our children . . .OURS!

Wow, I just cried my eyes out...I remember years ago feeling the same emptiness and pain for the same reason. And because of it, it lead me to the feet/cross of Jesus Christ who died for me, that I might be forgiven and have eternal life. Praise and bless His Holy Name for ever and ever. (Psalms 86:5) "For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee."
When one repents with heart and soul He will forgive you.
And you will see your child in heaven when it's your time to leave earth.

Such a great message about the challenges, & how looking to & listening to the wrong mentors often costs lives! The teacher knew she was overstepping by advising her to kill her baby, but she is so sold out to the selfish & evil mindset that any consequences were secondary! She should have been brought up on charges!
True. In the 80's, a teacher definitely could be fired for that. I think nowadays they'd give them a medal. It's so sad where we are now....

Good movie.
For women who are dealing with post abortion heartache or guilt, please read short little book "TILLY" by Frank E Peretti. Amazing, inspirational and very healing. And those babies are in heaven and have already forgiven the Mom who aborted them - they are waiting to meet Mom when she gets to heaven. ❤️
I’ve read that book. I worked at a pro life center for over 5 years; heard many stories.
But its a sin only way the mother who aborted them can go to heaven is repent turn their back on their wickedness and give their life to Christ by baptism of water and the holy spirit, following Jesus Christ.

You see her at the very end. That is repentance. A change of heart. Don't let people tell you it's something we commit to like an attitude that we think is righteous and try to work somehow on it.

Elective abortion of unborn babies is the ultimate offense against them. Jesus had some strong words for those who would do any kind of harm to children. His words should apply to ALL children, born or unborn. Unfortunately, some people deliberately refuse to see that, because they favor the murdering of innocent, unborn babies through abortion:
"Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea" (Matthew 18:4-6 KJV).
Some who support abortion claim that life only begins when a baby takes its first breath at birth when it emerges from the womb. They cite the Genesis account of God breathing life into the man whom He created. But the catch is that God utilized no womb when he created Adam from dust; nor did Eve emerge from a womb, for God created her from Adam’s rib. Unborn babies, however, are a totally different matter, for they are very much alive in the womb. They develop, move and grow, their heartbeat is detected by five weeks, they suck their thumbs, hiccup, and they “breathe” amniotic fluid, FOR GOD HAS ALREADY GIVEN THEM LIFE IN THE WOMB. How can unborn babies move and grow, etc., if they are not alive in the womb? Yes, babies take their first breath of AIR when they are born, but they are most definitely ALIVE BEFORE they do so. Life begins at conception. Abortion is the murdering of innocent human life. BTW, hands that shed innocent blood are an abomination unto God (Proverbs 6:16-17).
Those condoning abortion cite Numbers 5:21, in which the priest places a curse upon a woman suspected of committing adultery, whereby God will cause the guilty woman’s thigh to rot and her belly to swell. Pregnancy and abortion are not specifically mentioned in the ancient texts, yet pro-choicers use this as “evidence” for abortion. That is indeed a huge stretch and is an abuse of Scripture. It cannot be determined with any certainty what was the nature of the disease threatened in this curse.
Finally, do not try to justify abortion because God in the Old Testament destroyed people, cities, and civilizations that were evil in His sight. God gives life and takes away life as He chooses. We do not have that privilege. As the Scripture said: "the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD" (Job 1:21b KJV).

That girl knew it was wrong, she agonized over it for days, torn between losing her boyfriend, listening to her teacher's persuasive lies, her father's stance on the issue and her own conscience. She knew deep down in her conscience that that was a human being developing in her womb and that her father was right. She knew that it was wrong to kill her child and she did it anyway. There is no excuse for that, none at all. She is a murderer and so is everyone involved in facilitating this abominable act.
I feel sorry for all these evildoers who God almighty will be coming to judge us all and to bad what these evildoers have done they will be going to the lake of fire 🔥

These old Evangelical propaganda movies are as easy to see through today as they were when they were being made in the 70s and 80s. I was a teenager back then and they were even goofy to us. But their comedic value tends to increase and become more pronounced as they age. My favorite scene was the family message board early on in the film: “BJ meeting tonight. Staying with Tanya Toodles.” That doesn’t sound very Christian to me. 😂
Toodles is another way of saying "good-bye" or "see you later". Nothing perverted about it, unless you chose to see it that way.
