For customers who require greater load-carrying capability, the new Mondeo Hybrid wagon delivers the driving range and freedom offered by a traditional combustion engine with the efficiency and refinement of an electric powertrain.
In both wagon and coupe-inspired four-door body styles, the self-charging Mondeo Hybrid is capable of pure electric driving and offers silent key start capability for refinement particularly in city and stop-start driving scenarios. The powertrain eliminates both range anxiety and the need for customers to use an external power source to charge the battery.
The latest generation of Mondeo Hybrid powertrain control software delivers a smooth, linear response to acceleration demand for a refined driving experience. The enhanced powertrain software is also more effective at using the engine’s torque to deliver greater fuel efficiency and performance - seamlessly adjusting transmission ratios to utilise the highest engine torque at lowest engine speed.
The hybrid powertrain delivers 187 PS, and combines a specially-developed 2.0-litre Atkinson cycle petrol engine; electric motor; generator; 1.4 kWh lithium-ion battery; and a Ford-developed power-split automatic transmission that emulates the performance of a continuously-variable transmission.
The new wagon body style provides 403 litres load capacity beneath the cargo cover for Mondeo Hybrid customers with the rear seats in place, and up to 1,508 litres with the rear seats folded, while a flat floor makes loading and unloading of large or bulky items easier. Additional storage is concealed beneath the load floor.
ear design updates include new C-shaped tail lights intersected by a stylish, full-width applique in satin silver or chrome finish, and Mondeo continues to feature a lean side-profile sculpted to convey “visual lightness”, power-dome bonnet and, a slim-line headlight design.
Mondeo customers are now offered more options to personalise their vehicle. New 17- and 18-inch alloy wheel designs are available, as is a premium Liquid Aluminium finish option for the 19-inch alloy wheel design. Distinctive new exterior colour options include Vignale-exclusive Blue Panther, ST-Line-exclusive Stealth grey, and new Urban Teal for the full Mondeo range.
Mondeo’s upgraded interior features new seat fabrics, new door handle appliques, and new decorative spears unique to Titanium, ST‑Line and Vignale models.
Enabled by the introduction of Ford's eight-speed automatic transmission, the Stop & Go feature can bring the vehicle to a complete halt in stop-start traffic, and automatically pull away if the stopping duration is less than 3 seconds. For stopping durations greater than 3 seconds, the driver can push the resume button on the steering wheel or gently apply the accelerator to pull away, greatly enhancing comfort when driving in stop-start traffic.
Introduced to Mondeo for the first time, Intelligent Speed Limiter combines Ford’s Speed Limiter and Traffic Sign Recognition technologies, and can help ensure the vehicle’s maximum speed is automatically adjusted to remain within changing speed limits. The system uses a windscreen-mounted camera to monitor road signs and when the speed limit is lower than that maximum set speed, slows the vehicle as required. As the speed limit rises, the system allows the driver to accelerate up to the set speed, providing it does not exceed the new speed limit.

We had a 2015 ford mondeo estate in cherry red. Was one of the best cars ever. It was the highest spec you could get in the uk at the time and it costed about £36,000. It was a titanium X. The best thing was the fuel economy. Much dad done 700miles in it once with 29miles in the tank left. That about 1150km. It was a 180hp model

the Focus ST line looks wayyyy more
modern in the interior than the mondeo. only think that is missing on the ST line that the mondeo has are those rear air vents.
to me, the best one is the Focus ST wagon. that’s the sexiest one.
Interior of Mondeo looks cheaply from the first day. Why? Because this generation (2012-) was developed in USA for USA. Look at the interior of european Mondeo (2007). It was one of the best interior in the segment.

Extremely beautiful car, I have an 06 dodge magnum and it passes me off that not only do they not want to sell station wagons in the US the US brands think its smart to stop selling cars in favor of garbage tiny crossovers. I have an 84 camao z28 as I'm a 3rd Gen camaro fan then magnum wagons are 2nd favorite but my choice of daikys are my suburbans but I like all wagons from 1950s all he way to late model magnums,jetta,golf and passat wagons
Correct me if im wrong, but didnt Ford announce that the new (2022) model of modeo was only for the Japanese market? and of what ive seen of them they dont look like this, this reminds me of the 2020/2021 model and not 2022?

MK5 po kolejnym nieudanym liftingu ? Przecież ta wysoka podłoga bagażnika to żart z klientów. Samo MK5 jest mniejsze od MK4 do tego tak nieznacznie się różni. Ma mniej wygodne fotele i cenę z kosmosu jak za takiego odświeżonego starocia... Gdzie macie MK6 dostępne w Azji ?
У меня форд мондео 5 универсал 2019 года ,гибрид. титаниум . Я не вижу больших различий. Но в целом красивый автомобиль . У меня расход топлива 5.4- 5.5.л на 100 км . Что в городе что по трассе.

У меня 5,7 , езжу на ЭКО постоянно. Блин вроде не спеша езжу, а есть еще у кого меньше хавает, вы похожу совсем как пенсионеры передвигаетесь)

I understand the trunk floor is lifted because of the battery but damn that hill on the back side seems terribly designed. Anything loose will roll back in to that cliff and when you open your trunk door it might fall out the car

It didn't sell because of snobbery and that leased German stuff worked out about the same, because rates were historically low and against residual values. Hardly anybody walk into a showroom and bought one brand new. I had a titanium hatch, faultless for four years. Now I'm looking for the estate, but an austerity understated one. The flash one's look great though.

Diesel + manual is avaible, but u cant buy a new one.. the production of the mondeo is stopped forever. Except the New china mondeo. I love my 15' Mondeo with the 160ps Eco boost, manual and with 235/45 R18 tyres. Its cruises perfectly and is fucking fast in corners.. just the straight.. yeah it could have some more horses

Where's the panic button on the key fob?
The cost to make this video and the dealer didn't groom the car prior? I have a Mondeo and know how quickly the piano black shows anything, thought they might as well? A great shape, boot lip etc could be a problem, thank goodness for power tailgate. Wish my hatch had one.

All hybrid specced mondeos come with that previous style gauge cluster. Normal petrol and diesel versions come with the highest spec gauge cluster. But indeed there is nothing new about this mondeo, it is just the last facelift which appeared 3 years ago now.
I just got one as a company car and I hate it..
