- NOTE: This is not real.
Anyways, Someone showed me a site that has Australian TV Station bugs on it. I decided to get the 7flix one and make a mock of the channel airing an episode of "Good Times" with the PITS Films logo at the end. Included are the closing credits of the show and the station's bug to try and maximize the realism of the video. I probably should have had the SPT logo follow it to add more realism to the video, but i forgot to do so. Nevermind. Enjoy the video.
Here's where I got the Station bug from:

PITS Films (Pie in the Sky) was a television distribution arm of Tandem Productions launched in 1978 to distribute most of the material by Tandem such as Sanford and Son, Maude, and Good Times, all of which were produced by Norman Lear, with the former by Bud Yorkin.
This song is also for right now for what everybody is going through
If it was real, that P*I*T*S logo would have been plastered with a SPT bars logo.
With that said, thank you for restoring a childhood memory.
Damn I remember that I thought no one else would pits short lived logo from good times thank you
"GOOD TIMES is recorded on tape before a live audience."
Says John Amos
Good times was one of my favorite show to watch but they don't have it on TV anymore that show always made me laugh
Sister and I used to watch reruns of Good Times on TBS back in the early 90s. This just reminded me of that.
My aunt was the extra that stretch her arms out at 0:22
Tonight, join Charlie O'Donnell & Susan Shaw for the latest news, sports, and weather on the Channel 13 News at 10:00. Now stay tuned for Sanford & Son next here on......(in deep voice) Ch 13.
KCOP Los Angeles
Looking back on this the material is really low quality, 240p or less.
Thanks for the good times.
Mmmmmmm mmmm mmmmm just looking out of the window
Temporary layoffs are “Good Times”? News to me 🙄
Tom H I guess it depends how others see it....I felt it as a sigh of relief....because I really didn’t like my job anyway.
That would be sarcastic humor. The show had a lot of that.
I think the song is saying that despite the setbacks they might experience, they're going to make the best of it because tomorrow's a new day. At least, that's how I always interpreted it.
IIRC, back in the 1980s/1990, when this show aired in syndication on WPIX(11Alive in New York), about the 0:10 mark, Bill Lowenstein(or Bob Beery) would announce something like... "Tonight at 6:00, Oscar is taken to court for scalping some play tickets; will Felix be able to talk him out of his jam? Find out tonight on *The Odd Couple*! Right now, *Maude*'s gonna get you if you don't keep it here; she's next, on 11Alive!"
Interesting. Did it end with the PITS Films logo?
Bill Biery.
@@TrickyMario7654 Yes it did.
Lol Jay Leno as “young man”.
PITS was the exclusive distributor to these shows.
I watched this video on Instagram where Bernadette Stanis was talking to Jim Gilstrap, the guy who sang the Good Times theme. Apparently, there was gonna be a verse in the closing theme that said, "Roaches are out in the hallway. The landlord is nobody's fool. He lives on the other side of town," but they took it out because they thought it would offend people.
It looks real to me..I remember the logo....didn't know what the logo meant until recently.
Pie in the sky.
Daniel Lewis Norman Lear's companies always had hidden meanings.
@@thewipsportstalkfan3160 T.A.T. meant "tuchus affen tisch" which was a Yiddish phrase meaning "to put one's butt on the line".
@@drummingdanny84 -- PERFECT for Hollywood!
Really nice mock.
