It helped me get through what I was going through. I felt like a could relate to most of the songs. It became and still is my favorite em CD. Been clean and sober for over 20 years now.

Like he made this song specifically to hear these words in the song outloud “you’ve pouted long enough admit you’re brain is clouded…” I just never really thought about it for those two verses he is quite literally saying those words outloud to himself and letting everyone else in on what’s he’s battling within himself. Respect 💯

Hey bro you should check out "Castle/Arose" It's technically two songs but they are really meant to be listened to back to back. The songs touch on eminems drug use HEAVILY and they are on Revival, one of his lowest rated albums ever.
The difference between him and others is he gives you a message and you can go in your room throw on his cd and escape through you mind and visualize what he is saying its like a movie in audio format and and a lot of people can relate to things he has gone through from bullying to doing drugs to the struggle to get clean to having problems in a relationship to being funny ect and he's a fucken spitter

Because what other rappers do you know the names of their kids/ex-wife/mom. He is honest about it too. Weirdly honest when you think about it. A good hook makes a average song great.

Dude went hard as hell and did a lot of insane punches and metaphors that everyone just ignored because before the album came out the track list leaked and everybody saw the features and all said it was going to be trash because they were already looking for any reason to hat on him anyway. Yes he featured Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, Kelani, Pink, and Alicia Keys and those songs went hard too. A lot of people didn’t like it because there was a lot of anti-Trump talk in it. They also felt he was virtue signaling with one track on there called Untouchable talking about the struggle of African Americans in today’s America thinking he was just trying to be a culture vulture, but he got people like Lebron James and all kinds of celebrities, even Martin Luther King Jr.’s daughter thanking him on RUclips for taking his time to understand the situation and to use his platform as a celebrity and a white man to call attention to these issues. The very last two songs in the album Castles and Arose you have to do together in that exact order because they are basically two halves of a larger song and if you pay very close attention to the end of the second track there is a surprise that you wouldn’t get if you didn’t listen to the other song first right before it.

Long story short Wayne said on a UK radio show that Eminem was scared to jump on a track with him and that he was taking over the game, so Eminem made seduction to show Wayne he wasn't taking over anything lol they ended up doing songs together literally right after Seduction. And the reason Eminem didn't want to work with anyone was because he was tying to get clean and wasn't in his right mindset
