I’m curious !! what was your first job?? 💌
my dad was actually offering me my 1st job but i kept refusing him cos i was too lazy to 😭 but now i think im gonna go for it!!
first job was with my family business. not really a real job but still hoping to get one after I graduate !
I’m too small to get a job 🥲🥲🥲 but I want to
Mine was a transcribing job! I was also just bored that time so I decided to give it a try. 😄
Also had a "part-time" job with BBW, a company that tours around and sells books. I got in as a cashier but before the opening, we're all assigned to arrange thousands of books in 50+ tables 😆 imagine carrying big books, arranging and moving them 😭 it was soooo tiring. Ingress and egress were the most tiring parts but I did the job again when they came here again anyway. I learned that working and engaging with different kinds of people really makes me happy and satisfied with my job.
It's true about how Tokyo's energy level is contagious. When I'm there, I'm always going out, always exploring and always walking. There's always new things to see, to eat and experience. And then there's the simple thing of being at a cafe and people watching. A satisfying day out.
Low crime rate?
Only crack heads are out here past 6 lmao
Yeah until you see the high work ethics literally killing yourself cause of work lol
we need to talk about how effortlessly pretty she is!!
Ok let's talk
Yeah let's talk
There was a lot of effort I assume, let’s appreciate that.
Right?! Shes so pretty!!
Don't lie
As an American who wants to move to Japan THANK YOU for your videos! I feel like I get to learn what the country is really like ☺️. Also I LOVE THE OUTFIT!
have you started your move?:D
Absolutely love the pep talk at the end cuz it’s just what I needed to hear the most... Every experience happens for a reason and we just gotta treat it as opportunity to learn and grown more maturely... I remembered my first job at 17 was being a promoter standing in a shopping mall from 10-10 and it’s extremely tiring... Then fast forward I become a healthcare professional now.... I just got to know I have to leave my current job because of my contract ending soon and I will have to stress about looking for another job and I m so afraid of leaving my comfort zone but your words really encourages and reassures me...
"we just gotta treat it as opportunity to learn and grow"
I’m scared when I grow up but when I watch you I feel like I’ll have more confidence for when I’m older and do my best because you give off the best vibe and I love it!
I'm almost 23 and I'm terrified to get a job.
Pls you’re adorable. I believe in you!! Confidence really does come with time. You’ll be amazing as long as you’re doing your best and staying healthy, mentally and physically. And keep in mind that your best might not be the same as other people’s best! Don’t compare yourself to anyone. We’re all different. Enjoy being young for now, but do be excited about growing up too. It really is great :-)
@@Bummymeesh thank you so much!

Fighting!!!!!!
It was so interesting learning about your 1st job experience! I still remember My 1st job, I used to work at a shoe store 😅 then I studied tourism management and worked as a receptionist at a luxury hotel for 5 years, then I realized I don't want to work at tourism anymore. I've been working at an eshop since then, can't say that I really like it but a girl has to earn her bread 😭😂 I'm working towards building a youtube career now and maybe one day I can create my own brand?! A girl can dream 😂😍

You are maturing with every experience. Great thing you recognized this so young! Your cake looks so good- 😊 I love that they are small & not too sweet.
She is strong and independent! What a fun and loving life style! Beautiful city, great foods and drinks.
When I was in high school, there was a patisserie shop just outside the corner. Oh the independence is real when you get a craving for those goodies.
TOKYO IS A GREAT PLACE to do solo travel and find little hidden gems throughout the metropolis!! 🇯🇵 ❤️ 🌆

Thank you for this, it really motivated me! I’m thirteen and I’m actually working my first job at my dad’s company, it’s data entry and it’s pretty boring but it’s like you said, the savings are worth it✨

Yes, Wakayama is far. It is nearer Osaka. Lucky you Aika, you get to live in Japan while doing stuff you love, like vlogging. Your content is really packed with fun and smiles. If you continue to do more, you are earning much more than the usual employee.

Love your vlogs!!
CLAIMING THAT I'LL GET TO EXPERIENCE LIVING IN JAPAN!!!
What I would do to be able to move to and live in Japan! I love these videos cause I can live vicariously through you!
I worked in a factory setting for a year so I understand your pain, although we didn't work 8-hour shifts we worked 10-11 hour shifts and would go over 70 hours a week. The money was really good but my mental health deteriorated. I never got to see the sun because of the hours I worked, it was freezing all the time (I worked in soup packaging) I never got to see friends and family and I only had one day off. My legs and feet were always swollen and at the end of the day, I could barely even walk from my car to my apartment. When I had days off I could only recuperate and I would never go out. The money wasn't worth it if I could never enjoy it. The cherry on top...my coworkers were awful people. I quit and never looked back, and though I don't make as much money I am SO much happier.
主さん可愛すぎます😍❤️❤️
C'était tellement intéressant d'apprendre votre 1ère expérience professionnelle !

I love your videos and you are so pretty!!
your videos are always such a good vibe! I also love that your name Aika means "time" in finnish🥰😇
Not to be that person but I think a few people here in the comments have to be wary of what it's like to live in Japan, particularly in Tokyo, as a woman. For the first few weeks it seems really nice, you still feel like a tourist and everything is energetic and contagious but after awhile you kind of realize how isolated a lot of things are, people really just keep to themselves and the misogyny in the workplace and that you experience on a daily basis can make you want to go home. Especially if you're a foreigner and you're obviously a foreigner, like if you look Southeast Asian. You face a lot of discrimination and microaggressions which you just feel powerless to stop. Japan is beautiful but I hope people also realize it's better to be a tourist there than to be a resident :(
Asian foreigners fit in more than white or black people because they are simply Asians no matter where they're coming from. Unfortunately
Agreed :(
i agree so hard tbh I have never wanted to actually settle in places like Japan or Korea because i know it's only gold and glitters on the outside with that being said, these two places hold the top two positions on my bucket list of places to visit 🩷
True even as a man the society is just dead on the inside
Thank you for sharing your job experiences like this, because i have to work in japan too❤
love this vid, exactly what i want from a vlog. chill hang out
In the Japan is such a cute and pretty food ,I never try something like that
you're in ikea in this vlog and i think i saw u earlier in ikea pasay !! i dont know if its really u but if it is, i hope to see u again soon and i will say hi the next time! 🤎
Standing up for 8 hours a day is easier the longer you do it. Your feet get used to it and they stop hurting. The only problem is my knees and my hips after doing it for so long.
hi! I also did a packaging job when I was around 15, but it definitely wasn't something for me ((: I'm glad I learnt and I hope I can find my dream job that also brings joy soon ❤️
Your English is so great
