In my experience cold medication is a waste of money. They dont do anything, the cold always goes away on its own. So i only buy medication for specific things, like body ache etc
As a Turkish, I can't recognise any of that yoghurt brands hahah but I guess there are not many differences, you can buy any of them. We eat yoghurt as a side dish with our meals as it has a rather sour taste! I really liked your vlog, I want to travel to London one day as well

Getting souvenirs that are useful is actually a better idea so your slippers and coffee mug were good souvenirs. I collect Starbucks mugs so I'll always look for a location "you are here" series mug. Now that it's Xmas everywhere in retail season, Starbucks has the tree ornaments and possibly the Bearistas too.
Frolly is so cute oh my gosh. Your way of talking is so comfy and makes me feel safe somehow haha In Germany we don't really have mugs of our city, but usually post cards! You can find them almost anywhere and they're mostly overhead shots of the whole city. They are nice if you want to hang one up on your fridge. :)
Your videos are always such a treat. I have my little Sunday tradition now of watching them in the morning with breakfast, I look forward to it now! Thank you for all the work you put into them and for sharing with us

Honestly, I have never in my life met a German who takes medicine when catching a cold. The closest I had was Hustenbonbons (cough drops? I don't know how to translate that). I grew up eating soup (especially chicken soup) and drinking tea and when I'm sick, like liters of it. For example Kamillentee, Pfefferminztee, Salbeitee, Ingwertee are great when you have a cold. I never bought medicine in my entire life lol
So maybe instead of buying medicine try do it the German way. Sometimes I feel like dying but at least I save money 😂😂
Yeah, I was just thinking that, it's a big waste of money to take things like vitamines when could go get "cough syrup" instead

Same...Just when it is really bad I use cough syrup, "Nasentropfen" and good old Wick Wapurup and Wick Medi Night...but it has to be really bad ^^
When I think about it I wasn't sick since 4 years. Just wash you hands regular, dress properly for the weather and it will do the trick ;)
that's.... interesting. Sometimes no home remedies work though. But you've got a point, a cold is meant to take its time to pass, it's not like you need antibiotics for.

as a turkish we dont have those brands here lol. but turkish yoghurt usually tastes great no matter what brand it is. i recommend you to buy the one written "suzme yogurt" bc its really thick and tastes amazing with fruits and granola. btw im gonna study in germany so im gonne be there in 2 months i think. your videos are really helpfull for me what to do or what not to do lol. so keep uploading vlogs please. luv you

@@chegu613 no its turkish ik the brand but some brands here mostly produce some products for other countries. especially for germany bc there are so many turkish people who live in germany. i hope that helps

As I Turkish eyolie cant wait to see you eyol 💗 Btw a lil information there are two different yoghurt types :with kaymak and kaymakless. If you visit Turkey you also need to try manti which is similar to mandu and definetly my fav sarma( leaf rolls filled with rice)

Just a quick tip. Deutsche Bahn offers pretty sizable refunds depending on the length of your delays. You can ask for a form at the Information desk.
Form is available online as well
I asked for it via the DB app but was declined because the calculated refund amount was under 4 euro🤣
@@eyollog Strange. From the video it looked like you took an ICE train and I don‘t known of any ICE Tickets cheaper than 19,99€. With an hour delay the refund should have been atleast 25% of that.

Be careful when you drop things on your cooker - we have one of them cookers hob here in England - someone in my family dropped something and it smashed the entire thing. Unless you have money to buy a new hob top, you fine though. 🤣 The pure anxiety I got watching you drop things on your hob cooker. Hahaha.

As a turkish girl living in Germany I can recommend Gazi and Ömür!
Hey there, quick tip on the cole medicine: if you go to a German "Apotheke" the prices will in fact be ridiculous. We call overpriced prices "Apothekenpreise" for a reason.
Some basic stuff you find in the drug stores rossmann and dm like herbal teas for colds and sore throats. They also have okay-ish drops for the throat, a lot less expensive.
If you really need to go for stronger stuff I suggest you buy it online at shop apotheke or doc Morris. It is noticeably cheaper...however shipping cost incurred. I suggest to get a stock for the winter wirth ~20 euros to save it. If you don't know what you need go to a real apotheke, let them suggest things only to find you don't have enough money to buy it and buy it online later. Or get tips from friends online

I try to remember that craving in food to deal with stress may make me feel happy at the moment but brings more stress in the end!

I was in London till yesterday for a few days. The price increase in everything since my last visit was a bit extreme to me. I won't speak about the accommodation prices as they keep increasing as well. Don't get me wrong. I love London and I have so many memories of living there for a few months and the trips I've done. But I really found everything to keep rising in price 😭

To make further use of the glorious 25€ oven, I'd recommend to make casseroles. Turkish people, please don't read the following sentence: a Uni staple of mine was a casserole consisting of short pasta, sucuk, goat cheese in brine and spinach. You should be able to find sucuk and goat cheese at the Turkish supermarket and one casserole should give you at least 4 servings, about 3-4€ per serving.
