The LIDl you went to also definitely has a Pfand machine. Every supermarket in Germany is obliged to take back plastic bottles. Sometimes the machines are hidden or outside the shop. Just ask one of the employees if you can't find it. And happy birthday to you 🥳

I laughed at the part about the carbonated water 😂 this happened to me and my friend when we went to germany for holiday as well. we just wanted regular water, and we stood in front of the shelf for very long to figure out which is which but we couldn’t understand anything written on the bottle. in the end we still got a full litre of sparkling water 😂😂

happy belated birthday!! also regarding the silverfish, they HATE lavender, so try distributing lavender essential oil or use lavender cleaning supplies around your room, that's what I do and I havent seen any since i moved in. i have a lavender cleaning spray and I spray the drains with it every night, and this has always worked for me

Oh, your videos take me back to when I lived in Germany- a lifetime ago. The best time of year is coming up - Christmas & Christmas markets. I hope you can enjoy those (be sure to have some gluwein). Also, if you get the chance, visit Rothenburg ob der Tauber - truly magical during any time, but especially at Christmas.

If you're looking for something, maybe just ask the staff to give you a cheaper alternative. I haven't had any bad experiences with it. :)

If you want sushi, i recommend the Stores Edeka and Rewe. Those are (in my opinion)the best sushies in Germany! (I'm saying this bc in your First Werk Vlog you didn't Like the sushi, Hope it helps)
