    Anna in the bending with legs crossed posture the feet should be touching each, you can confirm the same from Mukul anna.
    Thanks for sharing your experience otherwise 🙏

    Wow. Good for you. I did that a few years back and it was awesome. I think I got about 4 or 5 months straight at one time and noticed my spine really springy and strong and also very midline aware. Also, just day to day things like kneeling for things down low rather than bending over at the waist due to the new flexibility in the hips, knees, ankles and toes. At first, it's almost a surprise as you're doing it in practice but then it tranfers over to real world applications. I've gone back to it on and off over the years, but my ego wanted bigger muscles, so I'm off it now. Sigh.

    thank you for posting this encouraging video. your explanation of haṭa (in Marathi or Kannada) helped deepen my understanding and resolve - it has only been 30 days of daily practice so far. while i have not taken the official course and am not likely not doing the postures exactly, it is still helpful. i experience great relief in my lower back and feel strengthened by it.

    Namaskaram and thank you for the video.
    Does Angamardana a practice of cycles that one chooses how much to perform or it is a fixated set to do once essentially? And how much time does it take overall including preperatory poses (if there are any) and all parts of it?
    Also, does it include upa yoga practices in it?

    • @aadipotter
      @aadipotter Год назад +2

      If you are asking about how long it takes for me to do Angamardana including preparatory asanas as well as upa yoga, it takes close to an hour. With regards to the posture sets, the entire Angamardana practice can be divided in case of lack of time, but it is best to consult an Isha Hatha Yoga teacher near you, for more on this.

    I guess the feet distance at 9.27 should not be that wide.
    It should touch each other maybe🤔
    Please correct if I am wrong 🙏

    Very encouraging sir.i did the inner engineering course and was doing well but suddenly a brother passed n i was off the wagon.i was 60 then ...then i got interested in angamardana and did not realise that one needs to be flexible a certain amount at least but i did the postures that i could by this time i was 62/63
    N then another sibling a youngest sister passed last year.and bereavements are difficult to deal with.atlas i am now 66 and always dream of a day that i can return to my favourite ISHA

      In principle, it should be possible. But it is best to consult a doctor as well as an Isha Hatha Yoga teacher near you before getting into it, as it is physically intense.
