Wow,I loved this story. I have a toy dog called Terry Dog, I've had him since birth, so he is also 38 now. He is missing an eye, nose & ear & is now a brown colour instead of white. I love him so much. He has travelled with me everywhere. I used to take him to judo competitions all around England when I was young. He is with me now in Australia. He is actually the only family I have left. I had a bit of a tear when the bunny became 'real' to the boy. Terry has always been real to me and is my oldest & best friend. This is a lovely story, one of my favourites now 🩷

Aw my mother read this to me when I was a child 😊❤️. I always remembered the little boy having scarlet fever or something akin to that and the rabbit being so frayed from the boy holding him. I haven’t listened to it yet, so I hope my memory serves me right. I also love the transition of the sound of wind chimes that you used for the train stories. it may be magical to hear before each story is told that way people can feel like they’re entering a dream world 🤍
My favourite sleep time story. Beautifully told. Your voice is so comforting and relaxing. My only worry is what happened to the skin horse. I suppose he was burnt on the Bonfire with the rest of the soft toys. Unless of course you could make up a new story of how he escaped x

Can we get more nostalgic kids stories? Maybe Peter rabbit and other tales or Paddington bear or Winnie the Pooh or any of the other class stories you read in primary school. ( Hungry caterpillar, rainbow fish, Grimm fairytale; 3little pigs, hansel and Gretel, little red riding hood.) As an immature adult it is comforting hearing kids stories as an adult.
