It seemed like there was a bit of chemistry between JDM and Bonnie. It would've been great if they had gotten together, but he's with someone else now. I'm madly in love with JDM, myself - so many attractive qualities!! As for Bizou, what a beautiful dog....I'm sure she knew just how blessed she was to have been rescued by JDM (all rescues seem to know these things! :) I hope she's still around - happy and healthy...and enjoying life. On a side note, I wish they hadn't cancelled Bonnie's show!!

It bothers me so much that he doesn't comfort or touch his dog AT ALL during this high-stress situation for his dog. Bisou is clearly overwhelmed or nervous at times throughout this. Sad.
Nonsense. Bisou is alert because of the unfamiliar situation, but she's not at all stressed. Her ears are up, her tail is laying down absolutely relaxed, she even puts down her head, which dogs don't do at all when they feel uncomfortable. She's attentive, but not visibly stressed out or afraid at all. She's perfectly fine.
I'll also add that comforting a dog when it is in distress only reinforces the behaviour and stresses them even more. The best thing you can do to a pet that is stressed is to remain calm and as if nothing bad is happening.
