原曲にある歌詞に込められた憂いや後悔とか影のある感情にリン様はほんのちょっとだけ光を差すのが上手い、それを感じるカバーだった。
今回上げたのは月曜日だけどあらためて週末の金曜日にお酒と夜を楽しみながら龍ヶ崎リンの『フライデー・ナイト』を聴いてみたい。

Really love her voice it's so cool and soothing
Rene might not have a voice that might floor you with how amazingly smooth or beautiful it can be, but she's got a very distinctive vocalization style/aura with how she sings. It's super neat, even if it might not be a "classically beautiful" type voice.
Speak for yourself, I could be carried to the stars wrapped in this velvet voice.

Those are the exact ways I'd describe her voice though, Amazingly smooth, Beautiful, just, stunning. I'm not sure what video your listening to but we're talking about Rene Ryugasaki right? Like the vtuber? Bc her voice is the smoothest, butteriest, most silky thing that has ever blessed my ears. There is a rasp in her voice but it does not make it sound any less smooth to be honest. I agree that her voice is very distinct and the way she sings is impressive though.
What are you talking about? All of the things you said she isn't, she is. She literally lulls me to sleep every single night. Every time I hear her, everything is okay.
Got DM'ed over twitter with a request to change this message, and clicked in to check to see what was up. That out of the way, as this was my initial reaction, I will not be changing what I said here(I don't mind getting called out as it's a bit ambiguous). What I will do is clarify what I mean(I'm not attempting dig at her voice in a veiled manner), as I actually love Rene's voice. But she's got a voice that drags you into her world, but it's got a bit of that slightly raspy/alluring impression like you used to get with stage performers. Other comments have mentioned soothing, retro or fitting the feel/atmosphere(what I tried to express by her "style/aura")
Sadly, I reached into my usual vocabulary(which entails knowing my preferences/feelings a bit more intimately, not something that works too well in a comment section). but "classically beautiful" is more of a dig IMO, as I use it to mean generic(possibly over produced) and forgettable, even if it can otherwise be technically amazing... Rene's voice stands out as distinctive and beautiful, but clearly HER'S(again, this is an impression as I don't know how much of that is curated, but it leaves an impression that I hope she retains).
The flooring comment(not a good one to have led with) is more just an acknowledgement of the breadth of vocal talents in the RUclips space(some of whom just make your jaw drop immediately). Sadly, while Rene's amazing IMO, she's not quite at those heights yet.
That out of the way, I'm not gonna edit the original comment. Rene gave me a like there, and I feel changing is would be akin to attempting to manipulate Rene's impressions. I'm open to the criticism, so it's gonna be left as it is. They were my words at the time, and I feel I've explained how I arrived at them. If they don't read it and just feel like attacking, that's more of a reflection on them than me at that point(although I'm open to further discussion on my feelings/impressions if anyone feels like it).
