If you buy a solo stove firepit and I've no idea how they do it but it doesn't create any smoke! also get an airfryer for your van. Lifechanging.

As a pot noodle expert; you need to fill with boiling water and fold the foil lid back down whilst it brews.... apart from that, i can't fault your effort... great work on the content too :)

Never did expect this power station to charge quickly. I was shocked when you said it charges from 0-80% in less than an hour. That is impressive.
The River is just perfect for those short trips and if you need to add capacity. You can just get an extra battery and that is it.
I need to be our van up to Yorkshire when we visit the mother in law up that way, …perfect excuse for some peace and quiet! That power bank looks incredible, I don’t think we’d ever have the space for a microwave unless it’s me on my own that it… come to think of it 🤔 sounds a great idea.
The company that converted my van install microwaves in stead of grill/ovens & so we that can use it anywhere I fitted an inverter plus my wife can use a hair dryer any where so hopefully no bad hair days but the Eco flow looks a good bit of kit!

I think the River Pro power generator is perfect for your camper van. The small size looks like it can fit anywhere inside your van.

That eco flow is a beast and well worth the confession 🤣. Have you tried plugging the van hook up into it? Our microwave is hard wired into the van and only works on hookup, but that could be an off grid game changer. See you at camper jam - we’ll be the ones heading towards you with an extra long hook up cable 🤣

First site I stayed at when I got a tent about 10 years ago - I stayed whee the glamming pods are now and it was a brilliant trip. There can’t be many better locations for a site. I want to go back but as I’m towing a caravan now I don’t think I’ve got the nerve to tow down the valley
If you were building a van from scratch, one of these would make a lot of sense if you were going down the Lithium battery route. By the time you bought the battery, inverter chargers and cables you'd be in it for more than that. That's the reason the Maxxtraxx Crafter conversion has one of these sort of power banks in it instead. I'd definitely budget for one in my next van.

Love family run sites❤ I would seriously love one of those ecoflow’s. I use a resmed breathing machine at night and this could mean I could go wild camping

Oh no, you added the soya sauce in your pot noodle before adding the water. I also get followed by the smoke when we have camp fires no matter where you site I guess thats just the rules. Great vids love the chats to camera :).

Great video Colin. I remember your post about should you accept it or not. I answered with, yeah go for it and fair play to you. At 2k I'd take it too 😂😂. Really good review of it. It's a serious bit of kit. Probably pay for itself eventually with the cheaper non EHU pitches, not to mention using it at home to save £££ on electricity.
Colin, just watching you put your window covers on the van windows. You’ve got them around the wrong way. The shiny reflective surface is meant to be against the glass to reflect the heat.
Swap the suckers around and put them on the opposite windows. 👍

I was another one of those who said 'go for it' when you said you'd been offered the Delta Max to review. But looking at this the Delta Max seems like a massive (in all senses) step up from the already very capable (and not small) River. I know it has multiple potential uses, but in terms of running a microwave, you can cook the meal you used the microwave for in just 1 minute longer using a pan on the hob! And of course 'cooking' Pot Noodles is even quicker... Just sayin! 😆
That's true, camping is totally what you make of it. For us, a microwave (off grid) opens up so many doors, it does my head in cleaning the rice pan 🤣🤣!
It is a massive unit though, but it could be used as a single power source in the van (built in) rather than as an extra battery. The river which is brilliant will be used by us 99% of the time though unless off grid with a microwave 🤣🤣!
We'll be using the delta more at the allotment
Thanks to videos like these, I would never know that such solar generators are out in the market especially the ones made by Ecoflow.
Beat this I was last Saturday with the wife and she went to bed so I thought I'd microwave a ready made dinner (after 8 Stella's ) and fell a sleep only to be woken up by what sounded like a atomic bomb had gone off , the point of this storey is I had to buy a new microwave as the door was hanging off 😂😂😂😂😂

Hey buddy, I tried it with the microwave I have and it powers it but then the power drops then it stops. Something to do with power delivery but that's way above my technical pay grade 🤣🤣
