Before you take it, ask your company if they cover the cost. Most companies do if you're in HR.

Yes!! Some companies cover the cost of the test (or reimburse you if you send your receipt over to payroll), some give you a bonus or a pay bump after you pass, some do both. It is a good chunk of money, so even if it's not posted anywhere or being talked about, it is absolutely worth asking your boss, payroll department or learning and development team about!!

I agree it’s so hard to answer those survey questions at the end when you don’t know how you did and you’re so nervous. I answered harshly and then passed the exam. 😅 But thanks for your content. It helped along my journey.

Right?! I was in such a rush to answer, and I was almost completely sure I had failed the exam so badly. I was SO RELIEVED when the little "PASSED" appeared on the next screen 😭

Yes! My boss actually has her SHRM-CP, and she was the one I was looking to the most for guidance about next steps in my career. I'm studying now for the PHR exam though, and I'm taking it at the end of the month!
