Originally Sole, in a simpler form, was the 12th of 28 modules embedded within Yes (2017), an eighty minute quasi-theatrical spatial collage.
The trio is essentially a timeless spacious thing: it embodies an emptyness, is a void, a floating thing, lost in itself.
Inside, withheld, unbreathed,
Nether, undisclosed.
Souffle, vapour, ghost,
hauch and dust.
Absent, silent, void
Naught beside.
Either, neither, sole,
Unified.
