Reminds me of my middle school days, I was already feeling depressed but at least back then it wasn’t so bad. Now I’m 26, the years have gone so quickly and I’m still down now more than ever. This song gives me nostalgia to a time where it wasn’t so bad and of course feeling more free. Thank god for music and Blink 182, I wouldn’t be in this world if it wasn’t for music.
I’ve struggled with my mental health since my early teens. 16-17 things got really dark. I would just play this song on repeat as I sat in my crying or having an anxiety attack. Something about it, it just always helped. I’m so grateful for this band man

People also forget, Jerry Finn was pretty much a silent blink member. He helped shape their songs and the credit to the overall sound goes to him. Nothing else will ever sound like this ever again. He also did AFI sing the sorrow which was also amazing. RIP Jerry.

My favorite Blink song of all time. The music video, while maybe straight forward, has a significant back story. The actors of the video were all former inmates and members of gangs who later joined a production company that helps place former gang members as extras in films, music videos, photography sessions, etc. as a way to help them stay off the streets in gangs.
Blink always have more layers to their art than meets the ear or eye.

This album is pretty much flawless. The drums on it sound absolutely incredible. The mix of engineering and Travis’s ability really hits hard. Especially on Always, Easy Target and Down. Listenable front to back every time.
Jerry Finn played a huge part in that. He was basically blinks 4th member

The year was 2003, Blink had dropped one the hottest angsty teen albums ever, totally changed their style and it was well received. If you were lucky enough to have a cell phone, you had a Nokia with snake on it, Fuse TV was playing the best music day in and out. Spencer’s and hot topic were the place to be on the weekends. It was 2 years after 9/11 and we all hated Bush. “He’s Bam Margera, what will he do next?” “Whatever the F*** I want” it’s bittersweet to hear these songs sometimes. Growing up sucks

I would listen to blink-182 on my way to the hospital everyday to visit my grandad while he was there battling cancer those days were long and dark, blink was there for me during those times and was a form of comfort to me. We are all behind mark and his family now! You got this!

I was 18 when this song came out and I'd give anything to go back when it was blink, sum41, Linkin park, good charlotte an all the rest of the alternative bands that ruled the music genre. I love a lot of different music, (I was a BSBer, am a 1Der, I listen to country, TuPac is my homie), but it's these bands that take me back to all the peaceful / no worry days in my life.

joey i. I was never really a big fan of AAF. I actually was asked yesterday if I would want to go see them in concert and I turned it down lol. FOB, I'd love to see. The Vines, Hoobastank and Puddle Of Mud never really sparked my interest much. I know all the songs they had on the radio of course but as far as their albums, not really. I did however enjoy Stained (& still do), Korn, Limp Bizkit and POD. The pop artists you named are okay, no one I'd buy an album from (although I think I did own a Pink cd LOL). I'll be 29 this year and I recently bought a few albums this past Christmas. 2 One Direction ^_^, Nick Jonas, Iggy Azalea, Sam Smith, Taylor Swift, Maroon 5 and Beyonce. ---My first cd was Crazy Sexy Cool by TLC. Bought it in Ohio USA in 1996 :p

I remember first listening to this song and the album they released at the time. I couldn’t get my head around how much their sound and musical presence had changed. It took me a while to get in to it. Looking back now it makes sense to me. I love the variations in styles and genres of music they spread themselves across.

Back in 2003 I was already in love with Blink, this album was a shock at the time, blink could have done anything, I would have eaten it up.
Now its 2017 I'm more in awe of how grand an album this was now, more than I was back then, where could have they gone after this? it was just too red hot to handle, amazing song.

When I listen to blink-182 it's the guitar that really takes me back. Not the lyrics, and not the drums. The guitar reminds me that for years all I really played on the guitar was blink-182, and a couple Sum 41 songs.
But when I hear the distortion on this song, Feeling This, and Dammit, it reminds me why I picked up the guitar in the first place. It was because it made me feel like I had something that my friends didn't understand. And even though I only remember how to play a handful of blink songs, they still takes me back to age 13, playing as loud and as long in as I could hoping to fill the void in my fucked up life.
Thank you blink-182, because your music made me who I am today. What's my age again?
