Thanks for the review. But I think you may have missed the whole point of "Kompressor." You pointed out that it makes it easier to empty the bin, but they wanted you to compress the dirt and dust in the bin, so you could use it again without emptying the bin. It was meant to reduce the frequency of emptying.
I think a better comparison would’ve been the hardwood floor attachment vs the carpet attachment on hardwood floors, since the Kompressor version doesn’t include the hardwood attachment. If the carpet attachment worked as well as the hardwood attachment I would get the Kompressor version. It is listed as carpet and hardwood / dual purpose on the Kompressor box.
Nice job dude! ( I get to be the first one to comment on your review.) I like the Kompressor features but as you pointed out, it is puzzling why the hard floor attachment is not included in that package.
Thank you 🙏🏽 so much! Yes I just don’t understand that concept. I wish it did for the price it’s worth. Thank you 🙏🏽 so much for tuning in! Means a lot!
12:30 Can you comment on the Power Punch. I just received one used but basically brand new. Does it just vibrate or is it moving noticeably in and out? Just want to be sure mine isn't broken. They call it a "punch" and just thought it would be moving a lot more than really fast vibration. Thanks in advance!
I'm curious to see the wood floor attachment used on dog fur....it looks like the fur would be stuck all over it with the material it is made from. I have a major shedder & this is my major reason shopping
I ordered a base model refurbished. If I were buying new I would get the base model. It just makes no sense to me that you’re pay$200 more for the compressor but you’re not getting all the attachments the base model comes with. It’s like spend$700 on a dyson and not getting 2 batteries and a soft roller. I just can’t
I would say the only thing is, these vacuums have 3 power modes. You are saying turbo when you are only on the second power level. When you turn it on. It is only on normal, the second power is a mid level. You must hold down the + button on the vacuum for 3 second to access full turbo mode.
hi! thanks for the details comparison!! It was great! I see they have a new model out with a power driven mop .. have you test if the mop head worked with A9 basic / A9 ultimate? Thanks!!
Saw that the new Compressor model listed battery life as 60mins each vs 40mins for regular model. Is the battery for the Compressor model larger? They look like same sized.
I believe all models in the A9 series use the same battery. I could be wrong but on the LG website they only sell 1 type of battery for all stick vacuums
Yes I love it that’s y I was thinking of getting the other one lol I like not having to put my hands in and i definitely need a rolling toll my first stick vac I never bought them before because they were crap back in the day
I personally got the base model. I just couldn’t justify spending $200 more for the thinQ and the power punch even though it is a nice feature but for my needs I need the hardwood floor nozzle more.
@@FixThisHouse me two I just got the a9 I got to use it for like 5 min then it died because it’s brand new I needed a cordless vac for my kitchen I like the 60 and I do like the compressor thing but I thought I would try it out trust before I like that the filters are washable but I got the the one with just one brush
I got this instead of dyson the dyson seemed to feel like a toy the plastic seemed like it was going to break not worth the money in my mind and then I found this
I really appreciate the thought, care and attention to detail you put into this video and comparison of the two models. Very informative and helpful.
Thank you so much for the love and support! 🙏🏽😊

Exactly.
The Kompressor model has both a higher wattage motor and longer run time. So ends up having more powerful suction and more battery capacity.

You just blew my mind with using the crevice tool as a "key" to remove the filter. I had no idea. Great review by the way.
Thank you 🙏🏽 so much for watching! Yes that crevice tool is useful, but you can also use your hand to twist it off 👍🏽😊
It's listed in the manual my man
Thanks for yr video bro,I just got A916 from Costco $299,the power amazing, charger 2 battery at the same time, love it
Thank you very much for a very informative video. I bought the LG Kompressor & I have no complaints.
Thank you for the support! The kompressor is amazing! Love the charging tone when you put on the charge station

@@FixThisHouse By the way, both units you reviewed are on sale on LG's website.
I got to say, this is a great review video. Really well done man!
Very good and informative video. Helped out a lot. Appreciate you taking the time to give an in depth review.
I’m glad I could be of help! Thank you for watching!
Are the batteries lithium ion, I purchased the A 9 cord zero basic model, on sale at Costco at $349.00. Very happy with it.
Yes they are 👍🏽😊 25.55V 2 AH

Hi! Yes the power punch just vibrates really fast , it agitates the area to release all the stuck particles on the surface.
@@FixThisHouse Thank you!
Excellent Review. Made my purchase decision rock solid. Thank You!

now A9s came out with charging station.. That looks really slick!
Thank you 🙏🏽

Thanks for posting. This is very good video to know the difference between two.

It charges the battery on the vacuum before it charges the spare one according to the manual so they don't both charge at the same time.
👍🏽😎
So, dude, after one+ month using tell me please - such power and motor of the kompressor same like base model?
hi! thanks for the details comparison!! It was great! I see they have a new model out with a power driven mop .. have you test if the mop head worked with A9 basic / A9 ultimate? Thanks!!
I think you missed one thing: There's actually 3 power modes(Normal, Power and then it's Turbo)
Excellent and very Thorough review thank you
Thank you 🙏🏽
Kompresser one is now on sale at $479.99 from Costco. Is it good deal?
Saw that the new Compressor model listed battery life as 60mins each vs 40mins for regular model. Is the battery for the Compressor model larger? They look like same sized.
They are the same size 👍🏽😊
Do you have the link if one wanted to buy the wood floor attachment for the Kompressor model? Can't find it anywhere. Thanks!
Does the mop attachment work with the base/Gray version?
Since Xmas is coming up I was thinking of mybe buying the stronger battery to I really need the other stuff I didn’t wanT to spend over 400
great review, thank you.
Can the battery from the compressor one fit in the older model? Just wondering if I could use the higher battery on the older version.
I believe all models in the A9 series use the same battery. I could be wrong but on the LG website they only sell 1 type of battery for all stick vacuums
Thank you for helping to answer that 🙏🏽😊
How long does each battery last while using?
thanks for the review. really helped me.
I’m glad to be of help! Thank you 🙏🏽
Idk j might return for the newer one idk yet imma use it for a couple days
Yes please give it a try for a few more days. But from my test the suction on both are relatively the same 🙏🏽😊
Yes I love it that’s y I was thinking of getting the other one lol I like not having to put my hands in and i definitely need a rolling toll my first stick vac I never bought them before because they were crap back in the day
For turbo mode you actually have to hold the plus for 3 seconds not just hit it
great and complete video thanks
Will they vacuum under the bed???
Yes it does go super low to the ground! I use it every time I vacuum under my couch and bed 👍🏽😊
@@FixThisHouse thank You. Made a purchase at Costco on your reviews. Thank You.
I’m glad I could help! I love how light and maneuverable it is. I got my parents one also! 👍🏽🙏🏽😊
@@FixThisHouse The wife and I love it...works great for what we use it for...
great price at Costco .
Witch one is worth it?

I need it for hard floors so I might buy a floor brush
