Yeah, this one, Unknown Road (man, even they Pennywise find it difficult to play live when they play it all, their most technical/complex songwriting and excellent dual singing at times with Jim and Jason, something they unfortunately lost) and About Time are old school beautiful, Full Circle/Straight Ahead/Land of the Free? are all really good, especially Full Circle but it feels like two different eras. After that they had one okay album (The Fuse) but Jim lost the perfect and intense voice he had on these 3-4 first records a whole lot by the mid '00s. Mad respect for them still because they do not release a lot of music since the late '00s, not spoiling those perfect records with albums lacking inspiration, unlike some other bands I won't name lol.
Living for Today means The Power of Now - ~12-14 years ahead of the book. Did I win the prize? This album was and still is one of the top 10 albums ever. Just completely sick from start to finish. It's like a houses of the holy, but even better. It's funny though, I never much got into their other stuff - just didn't click for me. But this one - this one clicked - whole album.
After unknown road he wasn't as versatile on current albums. Some songs on unknown road it doesn't even sound like him at times think he was using different registers with his voice at the time which was cool.
This album is the hardest hitting yet most positively Uplifting shit ever
..old wise is the best wise
