Your wife is on it Rikki. I have to let you know i was contacted by someone impersonating you that i had won some drum gear and i needed to contact "You" on some telegram account. Basically i was to pay shipping and handling cost, i didnt i knew something fishy was going on, i didnt even know there was a chance to win ANYTHING!!

Awesome work TC. I always look for the check mark. A few years ago I got contacted by a fake celebrity. Didn't see a check mark so I reported, blocked and deleted.

I think I got a message from “Def Leppard” their RUclips but it looked like they but I could tell it wasn’t them. I supposedly won something for being such a great fan. I think I also got something on Rikki’s RUclips also for being a great fan. I figured it was a scam. I definitely don’t have $10K not even close to $200K. But yeah I hope these scammers get some good Karma!

I’m so glad you guys brought this up. I fallow about 42 channels, 2 of yours, 1 of Bret, 1 of C.C. And one of Poison. I don’t think iv seen anything come up with them but at least half the other ones I fallow they want you to contact them on what’s app as well.. This scamming is so rampant throughout social media it’s crazy!! I even get young girls from all over the U.S. trying to friend me on Facebook for money as well. Thank you guys so much for your diligence on catching these people. I wish we can all stand up to this and shut this down. Again thank you guys. I had a scammer posing as Nikki Sixx try to pull a similar scam on me a few years back. Fortunately, I didn't fall for it. Love your channel.

Leo from Frog Leap Studios has a scammer like this. They targeted me as a winner of an Epiphone Flying-V guitar. Same method of getting details etc.. Thankfully I work in cyber security so I was wise to this tactic.
You are telling everyone the tactics that are used in cyber threats, social engineering etc.. good on you for sharing all of this information.

Hey Rikki, I fist pumped you in Pittsburgh when you were on back of cart just exiting your bus parking lot. I was astonished of the number of scalpers selling T-shirts. I never could understand why this is never policed in the parking lots and the number of fans that purchase. The money lost to crooks. In the old Philadelphia Spectrum parking lots, the police (undercover) used to bust these crooks. Rock is not dead and the High School kids are hungry for 80's rock. I'm a Bassist for HIRE. 👍Stay vigilant on these scum scammers. GOD BLESS 👊

Yea...he contacted me and asked me to download the app. I checked into it and it just seemed too hinkey for me to follow up on. You and I have met twice in KC and Wichita, Ks. years ago. Even though it was only briefly each time you were very gracious and I just wanted to say that you are an amazing person and are much appreciated.

They contacted me and told me I won poison gear! And all I had to do was pay shipping charges. I engaged in chat thinking it was real but quickly found out it was fake so I called them out on it and blocked them. It’s in the comments on a previous video. Love you man! Keep on rockin! Happens all the time scams on RUclips Facebook I can't even tell you how many things that I've commented on and they've contacted me and said I won something and they try to sell me on paying for extremely high shipping and want a credit card and a address and I'm not stupid makes me not want to comment on anything anymore. Wish there was a way they could stop it but unfortunately it seems like it can't be stopped. It will keep happening and there will be another one. Love the channel and your music.

I received one of these messages. The person claimed to be Nikki Sixx's manager. It was super creepy. It looked legit at first, but you can tell by the way they talk, that they're scammers.

Rikki They obviously don’t know you very well because you’ve been known to meet up with fans and go for a bike rides and that doesn’t cost anybody a penny. you’re pretty accessible to your fans and that’s why people relate to you. These scams have been going around for a very long time on everybody’s social media pages but I don’t know if anybody that has fallen for them yet thank goodness. Much love and respect to you and your wife.
These scammers are all over RUclips. Telegram is the big giveaway. Even on my videos, the scammers pretend to be me, using my profile pic, telling the commenters that they've won a free guitar. And of course to contact them on Telegram, which I've never used. As the scam goes, they ask the "winner" to pay the shipping for the "prize guitar." These scammers are on most of the bigger guitar channels. I block and delete them, but like cockroaches, they always pop back up time after time. Anyway, these scammers are total scumbags.

Hmm, interesting. Someone tried to get me on to Telegram from another youtube channel, saying I had won a prize by replying to my comment on that particular video. Clicked the username and it went to another youtube channel with 1 subscriber. That was the red flag for me.
