I went through a break up even tho ik they treated me horribly I still feel hurt. It’s hard to get over it even tho I was cheated on. And that completely shattered my self confidence.

I want to share something with you women. I'm almost 50, have not been in many relationships but this is what I've learnt. If someone you loves leave, try to fix it, the first and second time. Unless they cheat on you. Them cheating on you is them choosing someone over you, let them keep their choice. If they keep leaving, let them go. Don't try to manifest them back, don't try to make them jealous, don't go where you know they are. I don't block them either, don't view their stories. Let them be. If they want you, they know where you are. Whether they are shy, avoidance, they will come get you. If they don't, give yourself time to heal. Don't care if you were the best thing that happened to them, you don't win points for that. If you choose to work on yourself, do it for you. Because after a break up, you feel like shit. It is normal. Pick yourself up, don't wallow too long, see what else life has for you, not another person but what else. Life goes on. Make your bed, drink water, eat healthy, let life be.

4:30 i agree, no-contact is so empowering. Out of sight, out of mind. Your body needs to also detox the love drug chemicals, which also helps restore clarity. They also dont deserve access to you especially if he dumped you. You deserve better. If he does come back crawling which most men do, be ready to stand by your standards and expectations before giving them another chance.
I recently went through a break up, and even though I’m better now, this was such a refreshing reminder to choose self compassion. Let everything pass, it’ll be ok ❤

Having my first heartbreak it’s horrible what makes it hurt more is that he’s a good guy and treated me with respect and care and I did the same for him I honestly feel like I fucked up something and that’s why he broke up with me. Thank you for the help
Girl, same. Went through the same thing 2 days ago. And it’s so hard. I know I fucked some things up, but so did he. Nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes that doesn’t make you a bad person.
What I try remind myself is that there is nothing I can do about it now and so I’ll take this is an opportunity for growth, learn from my mistakes and be a better human. Maybe in the future there is a possibility to rekindle and have a better relationship.
@@luza552well everyone commit mistakes but as long as we're realising them & working on ourselves it doesn't makes us a bad person, I went through the same but we both fucked up in some way but at the end I was the one being blocked abandoned when i tend to overlook his mistakes often

fell for who they told me they were and pretended they were i was hoping they would turn out that way and keep the promises and to their word. sis was blinded and played. but it’s all good because I am just okay. they taught me something. i’m glad it happened even though it sucked. and detaching myself from them took a lot ngl. i’m glad it did not work out. i am much better now.
Same situation
Currently going through a break up. The relationship lasted 14yrs and the friendship lasted 17yrs. He left. Because he was cheating...for yrs. I never once cheated.. I gave all that I could and loved him hard. He always told me he loved me but his actions never matched. In the beginning maybe first 4-5yrs not the rest.

So my boyfriend of around two years, left this relationship a week after he entered into his new college because we had to do long distance . He left me crying so much saying that you are the right person for me but the timing is wrong and that he has to focus on his career. He also said if destiny would want we will meet again after some years. He hurt me so much because his actions told me he loved me but then he left me out of nowhere. I cannot be with him because I do not want to be with the person who runs away from me when things get hard but I cannot stop, loving him and the fact that he made me believe every day that we would have a beautiful future together and he wanted to stay every single second with me. I cannot stop thinking about him and the fact that if he did not love me, why did he do all those efforts in our relationship and why did he run away the moment things got hard. I don’t think I can ever trust a man again.

I had a breakup in January and it still affects me and I still have thoughts about him and we even reconnected at some point but I when I was going through my mental health challenges he couldn’t handle that so it didn’t work out but I’m just learning to accept the single life and focusing on myself and my future

Depends if he knows that you like him and depends on what you do when you guys meet.
If your relationship/ friendship already looks like a real relationship, that means you are doing relationship things (dates etc), but he still doesn’t want to commit he just playing.
You should talk to him about it (because communication is key) and set boundaries. When he says: "im not ready for a relationship" but he still wants to do relationship stuff, LEAVE.
