Do you get these lost film preserved in archive so no more damage will be done, since nitrate films need to be stored in special storage. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for preserving these masterpiece and history.
It's insane that there are so many lost films and other lost media that some of them aren't even on filmographies, books, even the Internet or any other type of source.
EXCELLENT restoration! There is a certain poetic beauty to the way these shots were filmed, suggesting that a professional film-maker may have been behind them. I especially like the way the image went artistically out of focus and took on an iris effect during the scene in the first clip where the Emperor was visible, suggesting his 'radiant divinity,' perhaps. It is also worth noting the fact that at this time Hirohito - as Emperor - would have literally been considered a god, and thus the extreme reverence in depicting him.
