BC calls SP up to his office and says to SP "Do you think you're good enough to play for England?" SP "Well they've called me up so I like to think I might have half a chance" BC "Well I don't, get out". Lol.
That really was a grand impersonation! Though I would deny anyone to back up the assertion that Cloughies's sides ever played atractive football! He would have given Mourinho a masterclass on where to park a triple decker. Great story - why the audience was so quiet is a puzzle. KP LFC Supporter - Gary Birtles - who?
Gary Birtles knocked you out the European cup when you were after winning it for the third time.....when I say you , I doubt you are from Liverpool so you don't count .!!!
@@simonsmith740 Me from Widnes - a full 10 Crow Fly miles from Anfield. Been a supporter since Shankly days. I was at the return leg when Cloughie parked the bus - what an absolute bore that guy was! I was also there the day Terry McDermott scored a scorcher at Forest's end of 49 game unbeaten run. The Kop sang ' Feck 'em all, feck em all, at Anfield the Forest will fall cos we wont be mastered by Cloughie's Red Bastads so come on me lads feck 'em all' And Forest never recovered, Cloughie turned to drink and that was the end of that then. I have attended two European Cup Finals and Three FA Cup Finals including Hillsborough final and the Stevie G West Ham destruction. So no not from Liverpool, but I think I can count myself a true LFC supporter. Keep reminiscing about those far off 70's halcyon days - they aint comng back anytime soon for Forest. In the meanwhile we'll chase number 7 😘

Nice story Jeremy. Thank-you. Acts of kindness have a way of working out for the best. This is a good example for all of us.
“Now then! Well done that young man”
Nice story mate 👌🏻
I can say as an East Midlander that his impression is very good. A difficult one to do from outside the area.
Well seeing as Clough is from Middlesbrough I'd say your comment is very irrelevant.
@@gregwestwood5160 Fucks sake Greg that's not the bit he's referring to
Nice. Looking forward to the Chris Evans story... 😉

They played good football on atrocious pitches and bottled Liverpool up and baffled them for two years ...they couldn't beat Shilton and co
