My next challenge is here, and it's bigger than ever! I have to travel from Brisbane to Sydney, to Melbourne and finally to Adelaide in a rented car. The TWIST? The car can't move without a stranger inside! I have three weeks to convince complete strangers to ride 2,000 miles with me along the whole east coast! Can I do it?

Scott totally knew it was going to be a problem when you got to his destination. You can see him grin when you ask him in the airport if it's busy enough. He didn't care. He just wanted a free ride. He totally got you.

To be fair Simon was the one who asked him if he wanted a lift and told him about the challenge plus as Scott said he'd never been there before so didn't really "get him" more or less just accepted a free ride and helped Simon start his journey

I would find a bus stop where people are catching the bus & ask them if they want a ride

Morning mate. How good was that aye, your first ride was a kiwi from here in Auckland. Remember, like I said earlier, Australia is quieter with fewer people. The sign was a good idea. Doing what the locals say will pay dividends. Holding the sign is what we do here for a lift. Might seem strange to other parts of the world but it works in NZ and Australia. Find the bus depots and put sign there or place one in a dairy window. And come on Jason.......send Simon to Auckland for a day

Keep your chin up and be fearless in your asks. Ppl are subconsciously attracted to confidence. Just like sneaking into the mgm. Be as confident as possible. If you need some help in Sydney I know some great ppl.
