How nice to hear this recording again after such a long time. My Guild Records partner, Barry Rose, and I (Barry was Master of the Choir at St Paul's at the time), were in friendly competition with Vista in the 1970's, and I often compared notes with Michael on choice of microphones, tape recorders, best disk mastering engineers, etc. Sadly, the sound quality we hear here seems to have deteriorated down the years.
