The instrument that you're curious about is a Korean string instrument called "Geomungo". Geomungo is a stringed instrument unique to Korea that is rare in neighboring countries where six strings made by twisting silk were played with a "drinking table."
From what I gather, Superband 2 is a Korean show that is similar to 'The Voice', but with the amazing attributes of all aspects of bands and music, and not just singing. Which is phenomenal. Sadly I am only able to find a few episodes that have english subtitles, and not full episodes, which sucks because I actually love this show. But I am watching it blind. Basing almost everything on what I see, and the expressions and body language. Kim Yeji is the singer. This is not her first show, she actually I believe, auditioned for and was on 'the voice'. I was able to find her blind audition. Kardi is the band name this group came up with I am guessing. In which these members are either picked to play together or pick each other to play with them. The "band" for this show with her is called Kardi. You can find both english and Korean songs that they do together. And they mix it up as well. They have some very amazing and talented people on that show, it's why I wanted to watch the full show. The traditional stringed instrument he is playing is called a geomungo or hyeongeum. It has a unique and beautiful sound and I absolutely love that such a traditional instrument is being incorporated into modern day music. It goes so well with several genres and just gives music a new uniqueness that we have been losing in recent years. On that note, another song from them is called "closer". it's also really good. So is the one called i think 7000rpm. Though it's not in english. Kim yeji also now makes music herself. She is an artist in her own right, though underrated.
Should try Dimash. First song would be "opera 2". The version with his dad that's like 7 minutes long I think, has english subtitles. Then SOS, though I think you did that one. Then my new favorite song from him now is called "Stranger", it's amazing. Dimash is incredible. Different genre than Kim Yeji but like her, unique and talented and incredible. Oh and what's her name...... Angelina Jordan. She is also like that. and sooooo young too with such talent when she started.
진정한 롹보컬
메탈 보이스
정말 치명적인 감성
삐딱한 발음
곡 해석 능력
이런건 타고난 능력이 분명합니다
