why are they asking these questions?? ask them about their characters, their experiences filming, how they relate to their characters, how they prepared for their roles; not why the director chose to break the 4th wall in his movie.
I like Michael Pitt as an artist. He is one of those cats that seems to make his choices with art as his first consideration - not box office cash. It's nice when that works out for a person as talented as he. On the other hand, he's not that great of an interview. I think for such an introspective person (his co-star seems that way too), being asked to talk about themselves must be uncomfortable.
There is NOTHING wrong with the interviewer. In fact, I praise HIM for remaining calm and adapting to Michael Pitt's uncommunicative response. Pitt is a slick actor, but he doesnt' come across as well here.
i think brady is smarter to answer and Michael wa smore like,, why are asking me ?? AHHAA and the interviewer so lame, and his questions so pontless even Michael said,, "humm what's the question"
this interviewer is pretty bad. "why do you think the movie is effective?" what a pointless question. ask the audience or the critics that shit. the people involved in making the film are probably the last people that should be responding to questions that deal with subjective interpretations of a movie's quality.
@EddyUdatos I don't know, I don't think so. I think he's a great actor and I know Haneke does too, and he's one of the most talented instructors living. Besides that Pitt have pitt always wanted to become an actor, like he moved to new york to become so when he was 16...

I think they're bored because the interviewer is asking a bunch of questions that aren't exactly appropriate for them to answer. As actors they are told what to do by the director and are sometimes aren't really told why they do everything. But they are doing their best in answering. But yeah, they did an amazing job with this film.
@sdashiel in acting when a character suddenly addresses him/herself to an audience, i.e by talking directly to the audience or involves the audience, the fourth wall has been broken, for instance in the Animated series of Batman, Joker constantly breaks the 4th wall and talks directly to the camera i.e the audience
I suppose also the fact the movie is a frame for frame, line for line copy of the original it doesn't really give the actors a way of making the characters "their own" little bit of personality.
heh well atleast he didnt answer the question like power hungry hillary clinton wouldve... she would answered it by yelling "im the actor not him wha wha"
SPOILER ALERT!! why do all the interviews and fucking reviews give away that vital bit of information that they do not survive?! fucking ruined the experience for me ,although not fully
Michael Pitt must have his own impressions about the damn film that he made. He doesn't have to be the director to have some opinions about this project that he obvious accept to do because he liked. He's just beign a prick.
It's Michael Pitt he is who he is. But he is also high and to grasp how this man talks he couldn't really on that state. Plus he might be reminded by the reporter of someone who abides by rules and he abides by none. So my guess is he also doesn't like him.
why are they asking these questions?? ask them about their characters, their experiences filming, how they relate to their characters, how they prepared for their roles; not why the director chose to break the 4th wall in his movie.

Noooo!!! Enserio tiene problemas con las drogas!!! 😢 Que sad! Y a mi que me encanta!!

DIOS QUE ES ESA PREGUNTA?
EL NO HIZO LA PELICULA
PERO QUE ESTUPIDO EL QUE PREGUNTA.

I feel like the didn't have anything to say that really disappointed me because I'm such a fan of the film
He is scary as a person. I bet he would really do that in life. they should pay close attention to him, always.
BigWillProductions1 LoL!!!
i LOVE michael pitt, by why does he look completely botoxed up in this? and drugged up...
There is NOTHING wrong with the interviewer. In fact, I praise HIM for remaining calm and adapting to Michael Pitt's uncommunicative response. Pitt is a slick actor, but he doesnt' come across as well here.
i feel sorry for michael pitt, these questions were for michael haneke xD
i think brady is smarter to answer
and Michael wa smore like,, why are asking me ??
AHHAA and the interviewer so lame, and his questions so pontless even Michael said,, "humm what's the question"
The fourth wall is the wall up between the audience and the actors. When the actors interact with the audience they are breaking the fourth wall. :)
Corbet did better on this interview than Pitt, especially when you mind it's true that these actually are questions for a director and not for actors.
0:18 JAJAJAJAJAJAJA LO AMO!!!
can this guy formulate his own opinion instead of pointing at the director? hes just as annoying in real life as his character.
I love his voice
Those questions were terrible. They are the kind of questions you ask a director or writer, not the actors.

I don't think michael pitt is not that great of a actor but he gave a the same creep feling like Javiar Bardem did in No Country for Old Men

cmon, the're just actors, don't have to be smart - "ask the director" is they're favouurite statement - don't they have anything else to say?

SPOILER ALERT!! why do all the interviews and fucking reviews give away that vital bit of information that they do not survive?! fucking ruined the experience for me ,although not fully
cool dude
what does breaking the fourth wall means?? please
It means the characters turn to the camera and directly approach the audience.
What a vain person -_-'
Actors should learn as much as directors
They look Drunk !
Mod psykid high
I still don't like him for a real life.....he used his real character in that stupid movie!!
Michael Pitt must have his own impressions about the damn film that he made. He doesn't have to be the director to have some opinions about this project that he obvious accept to do because he liked. He's just beign a prick.

He will never become a great actor, NEVER! He does it only for money..
"Sets up genre cliches and turns them on their EAR" oh dear..
Great acting, too bad the movie was boring beyond belief. No wonder it bombed.
Who's a fan of "Boardwalk Empire"? Now, who's excited for the second season?
