Ha! Mine was at Evans. Early morning. Paddling out and saw a maybe 3.5 mtr thru a glassy tee tree coloured wave. 1975 ish. We turned round and paddled back in
I drove by there 40+ years ago visiting a friend in NSW. Unfortunately it didn't look like that. The cows were grazing on the shore, the air quality was outstanding and traffic was very light back then. Nice country.
You guys are so lucky. I'm from Florida. The waves here suck. I'm pretty sure every Australian hears The song easy lover by Phil Collins playing in their head every time they're ripping the s*** out of one of these waves
It’s like that everywhere mate, Goldy, Lennox & a couple hours down the coast. The worst thing are the “locals” who carry on about tourists & blow ins but they are also blow ins 😂 When one starts mouthing off ask where the hospital they were born in is. Also training their kids to drop in on people, that’s shameful. Standard behaviour from a low life
The worst ones are the 'blow back ins'. They live there for say 5-6yrs, become a half local, move away then whenever they return think they can slot back into local status. As for parents and kids, I love parents out with kids but if you call your kid into a wave you just gave away your wave. Don't be paddling for the next one on me as well.
Moved out of home 25 years ago, I go back occasionally but always respect the line up rules. Plenty of waves, just wait your turn. How about the ones that paddle up the inside, sit way too deep then fall off first turn, get back out & paddle straight inside again? Very narcissistic behaviour. I think the lineup rule isn’t known by some people, but some people are very selfish, especially in that area
The first shark I ever encountered was here, at the end of the wave. A great white. I walked on water like Jesus that day 😂
😅😅😅

Great waves and song. I love the intro catching 3 surfers getting at it on their own waves.
So nice👍. After that session there’s the “other session” then over to the lenno pub for that session😉
Great waves
That offshore wind makes all the difference- this is straight
out of a Classic 70’s surf flick.
Sick track.
Gorgeous.
Nice! Surfed it like that one Tuesday with 6 others. Winter of 1982. Sea urchin spines...
I got my foot pierce WITH 15 plus sea hurchin spines…they went through my booties
Perfect for my moonraker
What or who is the background music - I know I have heard it before and love it !!!!!!!!!! Is it Smokehouse, with Pack Rat Thompson?

Noice waves and mad tune,,,,,,, what swell does Lennox lefts work on? 🏄♂️🎸🇦🇺
The lefts at Lennox Point need North to East swell, are short & unreliable.
except more surfers every year
