Duuude... I loved the first version of the song, both of the different Mario vocal versions. To know now that this exists brings me joy, and it sounds really good as well! Everyone involved on this song did amazing, great job guys. Can't wait for this to be playable!
After Luigi found Mario again, he had the perfect sneak attack. Mario had never expected Luigi to live after their brutal battle above the lava. Mario knew it was his fault, he had lost his brother and soon Peach, who was torn after the 'death' of the one in Mario's shadow.
It's not bad at all. I really like how they used super worlds game over song and how it's mostly soft and lo-fi which I absolutely love lo-fi. And the use of peach in the background still crying from the feud that the brothers were in. And i like the sung parts, its slow and swingy with only some fast parts. And luigi saying I hate you fits him but the way he said it shows that he now regrets his decision. This is a love letter to an already great Creepypasta and im all for it. With all that said I really enjoyed listening so thank you for putting this masterpiece into my ears. (Edit: I really like the ending where its slightly distorted showing a sign of failure for mario and getting his brother back)

This is a really good V2, and I love how it directly samples the actual original SMW gameover theme. I also like the lo-fi approach of the song. However, I do have some criticisms. 1. For a song that's supposed to be a slow, somber, and emotionally sad, it feels a little more fast-paced than it should, compared to the original. Not saying that's necessarily a bad thing, but it's just my opinion. personally, I liked how V1 sounded better, but there are some aspects of this that I like better over V1. 2. I've seen someone else mention this already, but I also personally feel the "I Hate You" voice line ultimately sounded better in V1, than the one here. The one here isn't bad, but I personally thing V1's Luigi voice line did sound more emotional. 3. This one is a big one... the chromatics... the chromatics honestly need some improvement imo. I feel like the Chromatics honestly bring this remaster down for me the most, and while I am all for using new chromatics in a V2, these chromatics need a serious remake, ESPECIALLY Luigi's. Some advice is to remake the chromatic with cleaner, and better samples, and then trim out the improperly pitched portions at the beginning of the samples in the chromatic after pitching them, use a limiter or something to make all the chromatic samples the same volume, give the chromatics a punch or something of y'all want, and then ig add some effects to Luigi's chromatic to make him sound more ghastly or something, since IHY Luigi is quite literally a heavily burnt Luigi, and is seen alive after dying in lava somehow, creepypasta stuff blah blah blah. That's my criticisms ig. Aside from that, I did enjoy this remake of the song, and I am looking forward to the revival of the mod aswell. I did also read in the comments that there are going to be multiple songs, so I'm definitely looking forward to that!
This is an amazing revival, it sounds so nice (and is very calming to me.) I do wish Mario was a little louder though, he gets overpowered by Luigi's vocals (not a bad thing, i love Luigi's vocals)
You know, this makes me really happy. I've actually listened to v1 ever since its release and i'm just glad it's getting a remake. A quick question tho, in the description you said that this is the first offical full song for the mod. Does that mean that this mod will have more than 1 song?

I remember the original song I was pretty good i really like it was. IHY Luigi was one of the very first Mario creepy pastas I ever saw I do miss the references to the super Mario world theme tune ( I think it’s the theme tune and I think it has to do with Mario world not sure ) but this is a really good song well done
@@dead-g9l it’s kinda both of their faults Luigi could have talked this out with Mario but instead went to extreme measures with this and worked with the enemy but it’s also Mario’s fault for not seeing the issue and see Luigi with the problem that he was left behind in his shadow so If you think about it both are at fault they messed their brother ship on their own
