I just got the sample pack from Bond No 9 the other day. I've really only tried New Haarlem so far, but I got two samples of that since I got the small sample pack for free for ordering the big one. I just got into this hobby this past couple months, but I'm already obsessed! I just bought my second 100 ml bottle from the Louis Vuitton store. I have Pacific Chill and Ombre Nomade 🥳

New Haarlem was sweet in every sense of the word, smell like Pancakes Syrup , I worn both Scent of Peace for Him and Her, I have worn Sutton Place, and I Love Lafayette Street the Most . Bleeker Street is just ok for me. Once again New Haarlem I would say my second favorite of the House.

I was told bond number 9 are mostly hits but some are big misses. I have scent of peace for him and tribeca, I gave tribeca to my girl as I found it very pleasant but preferred it on her.

As any frag head knows with multiple bottles (I’m at over 50 niche) our taste in which is the best and most work varies daily. Wish this hose got more love in frag com because it lasts amazingly long on my skin. Next on my hit list are Riverside Dr and Nomad. Nomad is AMAZINGLY good!

Doubt I’d buy again I have picked up another 15 or so bottles since I wrote this but Sutton Place is good juice it just doesn’t have a place in my fragrance wardrobe.

Bond at one time was definitely my favorite house . Now as time passed my nose developed to get into other fragrances. But I have 12 of their fragrances in my collection
@@mardoggyo6712 well right now the 2 houses that got my attention are 4160 Tuesday and Simone Andreoli I have about 7 fragrances from 4160 Tuesday and have smelled almost their entire line and I really love their gourmands Simone Andreoli is fairly new to me I only have 1 fragrance from them but I've smelled like 2-3 samples from them and they were really good . They are kind of hard to find though especially at a good price
I just got Lafayette Street, Sutton Place but my number 1 is Nomad. I also have on my list NY Nights, Greenwich Village and one that is absolutely great and have not heard anyone give any reviews of it. Bond No. 9 Bloomingdales 150th Anniversary Edition. Also Signature Scent and FiDi.

Hey BTFG great content as always. I have three bond fragrances and they were purchased do to you and Mrs. Bowtie’s recommendations. They are Scent of Peace for him, Chez Bond and Lafayette Street. I want to add two more and love to smell different but appeasing. I feel the three I have are geared towards summer, I think I want to add Manhattan but want you guy’s opinion on another winter bond fragrance.
Off broadway and signature scent smell very similar to me. But signature scent also smells like a more simple version of nomad. I think my nose is broken.
Bond no. 9 was the largest house in my collection at 18. However I fell in love with the house of Xerjoff. 31 all Glory to God. Then MFK at 21. On the cool Initio is my favorite house at 11. I would have note but they don’t have nearly as may offerings as the for mentioned houses.
Make that 22, I had to take a look at her’s lol. I guess wifey & 1 are tied. Probably won’t be breaking it anytime soon. I have everything from the house I won’t unless she finds something that she does
I agree on your top 2. You should get your wife Gold Coast & Chinatown. Gold Coast smells so good on my wife, she knows what time it is if I smell it. Unfortunately one of my coworkers has it so I had to ask her not to wear it to work lol
As a person of dark skin just as you….the house of Bond No. 9 doesn’t do it for me to my nose it smells synthetic The only one that did well was Governor Island and FiDi And it sucks because I wanted to like this house
I have Greenwich Village and Scent of Peace for him ... My wife pretty much stole Greenwich Village from me...she also has Madison Square Park and Nolita... it does have those BR540 vibes... it's super beast mode.. for a fragrance that works very well in spring/summer... can't go wrong... it will stay on your skin til you wash it off. Only other fragrance I really have that stays on 15 hours+ like that (in pretty much any scenario) is Oud for Greatness... .As for Scent of Peace - great spring/summer frag... not a beast but it does perform well on my skin. It's def not Creed Aventus... you were generous with the 10-20% lol.... it's great though... you can wear it for the same purposes you'd wear Aventus.
Brooklyn is my favorite from this House but in fairness I've only smelled a few of them. I have gotten Scent Of Peace For Men and Bleecker St. which I liked both of them. Sadly I live in a very small town so I have to get everything on the internet which can get expensive fast trying to buy samples. I sound like my mother but to me if you buy so much dollar amount of Cologne at one of the bigger sites it should give you some free samples that are both picked by you and them to try so it's win win! It's a lot easier paying a few hundred bucks on something if you know you like it plus get to test drive a few new scents you haven't had a chance to smell yet.
I think they let you pick your samples now. Also if you have a saks or bloomingdales anywhere close they carry Bond so you'll be able to check them out. Also would recommend trying the grand bon bon set and you'll get a decent size sample of 30 scents.

I hear Bond 9 New York oud is being discontinued. I guess due to.Oud being hard to find and use!?!?. Thank goodness I have a bottle (half bottle). It is one of those frags that is hard to find on discounters and eBay, even before the discontinued announcement. If you can find it anywhere, this Wil be a smart buy for investment purposes. It's already going for 500 to 700 for the 3.4 bottle on Ebay. I love it and imo the best oud blended frangrance on the market I found one on eBay for 198. It's a bidding situation, so I’m sure it will go up

Chez bond extremely underrated
I have SOP for him, Chez Bond, greenwich village, Lafayette st & nuits de noho. I think that bleeker street smells like Ajax scrubbing cleaner
Brooklyn is my favorite from this House but in fairness I've only smelled a few of them. I have gotten Scent Of Peace For Men and Bleecker St. which I liked both of them. Sadly I live in a very small town so I have to get everything on the internet which can get expensive fast trying to buy samples. I sound like my mother but to me if you buy so much dollar amount of Cologne at one of the bigger sites it should give you some free samples that are both picked by you and them to try so it's win win! It's a lot easier paying a few hundred bucks on something if you know you like it plus get to test drive a few new scents you haven't had a chance to smell yet.
I think they let you pick your samples now. Also if you have a saks or bloomingdales anywhere close they carry Bond so you'll be able to check them out. Also would recommend trying the grand bon bon set and you'll get a decent size sample of 30 scents.

I hear Bond 9 New York oud is being discontinued. I guess due to.Oud being hard to find and use!?!?. Thank goodness I have a bottle (half bottle). It is one of those frags that is hard to find on discounters and eBay, even before the discontinued announcement. If you can find it anywhere, this Wil be a smart buy for investment purposes. It's already going for 500 to 700 for the 3.4 bottle on Ebay.
