We love handwriting without tears too! I’m looking forward to your loop schedule video and science/social studies. Social studies is the subject I’m really having a hard time with incorporating!

I’m so excited to see how it works for us haha sometimes it makes a lot of sense on paper but doesn’t work out haha
History is one I didn’t do well in myself when I was in school, but now watching my kids learn I’ve realized it probably was the approach in teaching that made me NOT like it.
So I’m so excited to change that and learn alongside with them! 😊

This year for my 2 grader daughter we are using Evan-Moor workbooks. We love them.

Fellow YT mom here. We are literally using almost all the same curricula as you for my second grader. 😆 She was a struggling reader and LOE has been a complete and total game changer for us too. She is taking off now. We are also using Evan Moor for the 6 trait writing, geography, and art. I love Evan Moor's stuff! We are also using the same Spanish book and have been enjoying it. It seems very thorough and well tailored for this age group. Our biggest difference is we are using Horizons for math and 180 Days Of Social Studies (in addition to the geography). Thanks so much for sharing! 😊

We used horizons for math in kindergarten and we’re using it again for my little one! 😃
I’m looking more into the 180 days workbooks! Might pick some up for next school yearn 😁

@@ThisReyesSchoolHouse Oh awesome! I have been so happy with the 180 Days workbooks. We started using their spelling too and it's fantastic. 😊

Are we using any of the same picks?
Let me know if you’d like a full review on any of these! 😊

Hello, where did you get the Spanish book from?

I haven’t looked into spectrum. Do you have a flip through? I feel like we need a separate writing curriculum. Building writers looks interesting too. I think my son has a really hard time when the curriculum ask him to make stories up. He enjoys just following directions.

Yes! That's what my son struggled with. He's so literal haha that he struggles with any ambiguity. So there was always so much pushback during writing...so finding workbooks like these has been helpful.
I don't have a flip through right now, but I'll share soon!
