Two guitars, three voices creating pure bliss. I'd like to see someone try this today. Where has all the talent gone? These guys had it that's for sure.
At 43, I can honestly say I grew up listening to The Brothers Gibb. I can also say, my 23 year old son loves them almost as much as I do. He knows every song by heart, thanks to me. RIP Andy and Maurice. :(
I was born in the mid 60's but have always loved the music from the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's. The Bee Gees are timeless in my book. So poetic and heartfelt.
Oh my... The Midnight Special and Wolfman Jack. This is a blast from the past; I vividly remember sitting up with my sisters watching this on Friday nights. For that matter I remember listening to Wolfman Jack on the radio broadcasted out of Minneapolis. Such a distinguished career for those three gentleman, in recording and producing music for other artists. Bless you gents...
They were an awesome group, I also grew up with them and many, many more. Anyone over Fifty lived through the greatest years of music the has ever been. We lived it all, seen it all,..literally!!
MY FAV.: ROBIIIIIN ♥️♥️♥️ ....RESPETUOSOS, CABALLEROS, 2022 Y PARA MI ESTAN VIVOS!!! SIEMPRE!!! RIP MO, RO & ANDY...BLOOD OF GOLD!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💕💕💕🔥🔥🔥🎵🎶🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎶🎵🎵
I guess I'm different. I liked their early material but I LOVED their Main Course. children of the World, Fever, Spirits era too. (And I'm 58 years old). Was absolutely crazy about Barry growing up!
Yeah, true. But we look at Robin and Barry on this tape, and on modern interviews and they seem very tight; almost like one guy! RIP great, humble Maurice Gibb. Damn, why couldn't it have been the douche from Maroon 5 instead. Its not fair.
Revel in your age. We lived early rock, muscle cars, what Vietnam really was,Tricky Dick, The great James Earl Carter and 19%car loans, points on mortgages. And the kids still don't understand.
Love the Bee Gees! And so in love with Robin Gibb

New York Mining Disaster is their best song, in my opinion. Great performance!

Holy cow, they are stronger live than on the records. Heroes, in the Beatles and Beach Boy leagues of excellence (maybe even greater? hmmmm)
i cant believe the midnight specials not on tv somewhere come on nick at night
They had very narrow TVs in 1973. : )
Thumbs up if you hate autotune...listen to these guys hit their notes pitch perfect live!
F....n great music!
thanks dudes.
That was funny though AC/DC and Ozzy kicking their asses, what a thought.. Rest my friend.
barry was more pop
robin was more classic
maurice was the harmony (in every sense of the word)
sibling rivalry between barry and robin was too intense
Epic!
Burger King dude with Gem Magic studs and stones all over his shirt. Barry is a walking TV info-commercial and he doesn't even know it. :-)
they broke up for 15months acording to an interview and the book i have
@MillionthUsername As Archie Bunker would say, the vertizonal hold needs adjusted!

SNL then the Midnite special, we may of had two or three tv channels then they showed stuff like this.
Could someone post the George Carlin stand up bit from this show?
@humatak07 you can say that again....lucky one....
yeah, attractive with that cadillac grill of his...attractive.
gee, they had really narrow faces it seems...
Yes, that performance squeezed their vocal cords so tightly that it resulted in the falsetto singing they became famous for shortly afterwards.
Robin & Tiny Tim were practically interchangeable
false without mo they have fallen flat no middle man to still the waters
