After access opening i do bmp and irrigation ,then i dry the canal and place a cotton pellet dipped in formocresol.In these cases i don't encounter any flare up case. But in such cases,when I place a temporary restoration after access opening patients complain of pain and in some cases swelling as well....May you please explain it?
@@KHANDANISH-z4bActually Formocresol is a devitalising agent which leads to necrosis of the Pulp and vital tissues. It is very harmful as the vital teeth turns devital and you also loose tooths healing capacity. DO CMP instead of BMP I. e. Chemicomechanical preparation of root canal it means follow proper irrigation protocol in between Files and Recapitulation is must. Then use Sodium hypochlorite followed by ultrasonic Activation for 1 min. In every canal. Always trust on Apex locator working length not just for radiographic apex. Then obturate it. By warm condensation technique I hope you find it well. THANK YOU

Sir what if we place cotton pellet only? .....after BMP and irrigation....
Placement of cotton pellet is not indicated as cotton itself act a place for microorganisms to grow and it does not seal the canal from saliva.

@@KHANDANISH-z4b Even I have encountered this many times, so I used to place Open Dressing with Cotton pellet dipped in Formocresol.
