- A steady after work ride at Wharncliffe with a enthusiastic new rider named Giorgio who's been wanting to come here for while, but can he ride some of the trails/features thrown at him?
No money was exchanged from Marks professional coaching lesson, first lesson free of charge, hit him up 😂
Great Video Rob ive recommeded you to some guys in the USA as your style of riding and commitement make you a very good watch! Props to Giorgio for completing the trail its very easy to feel intimidated by the steep drops and when he commited i was cheering him along! I ride chalk escarpments on the Isle of Wight and was scared of heights but love riding downhill so i have now conquered my fears and am beyond obsessed with riding like a banshee down the slopes my record speed is 52 mph but that was because i was to scared to put my brakes on haha
Thanks mate very much appreciated 👍, yeah Giorgio did well the rock roll is harder than it looks, 52mph 😮that's some speed
Cracking video Rob! 👌 Liking the HDR effect and it looks tack sharp!!👍🏻😁
Well done to Giorgio!👏
Cheers pal , yeah Giorgio did well was impressed not an easy place to ride 👍
Good effort Georgio - did some techy stuff in-between laying down
The vids never do it justice is far harder than uk trail centres so something to be proud of 👍🏼
He did well mate I was impressed 👏
Awesome stuff! I need to get back here at some point soon! 👍
Cheers Ant, good fun on the hardtail too , just a bit brutal 😅
@@Bloody_Nora theres a few bits I really want to get done here on my hardtail. 👍 deffo going to get one scheduled in soon!
It's not an easy place to ride for a newbie. But we only learn from failure.
Its not mate I even get nervous at times, the lad did well, he'll get there sooner then he thinks did features first time that took me 3 attempts 👍
where would u recommend for a nebie that has more balls then skill lol
Was that LooseDog and the start of Crosslands Slab? great video as always Rob !
It was mate 👍, gave him a bit of advise 😂😂
@@Bloody_Nora hahaha good lad 😂
Great riding as alwats qbd yoyr canwra is wet uo to perfection. Giorgio soon gets to grips with the place very quickly no doubt. Not an easy place in any conditions 👍
Cheers mate, yeah camera looks good on this one the light was ok with the sun been out does struggle in low light tho, was very impressed with the lad he did great, took me 3 visits before I did the slab.
@@Bloody_Nora took me two before I did the big chute and 🤫 still haven't done the rock roll 🤣
I think there is a crash on the Slab trail each time I am there. Not easy this place at all.
Its not easy mate but the lad did well for his first visit 👏
Mark trail dad 😂

@@Bloody_Nora nice one just joined the group 👍
@@shannonmtb no problem mate👍
I wouldn't recommend this woods to beginners but if theres a beginner that wants to go I wouldn't hold them back. Way to progress quickly.
I agree 💯, but when they turn up ready to go with or with out you, can't let them go on there own.
Well done that man, I've got years of riding on you and still bottle that slab sometimes!
And please don't take it the wrong way but 'just lean back' isn't the best advice for someone learning. Like snowboarding and skiing, we lose all control if we lean back (unless manualing of course :) )
Yes he did well mate , and none taken, the lads new to our rides and as been eager to come here but we've told him numerous times its not easy and we are for from pros ourselves and the advice you get will be shite 😂 , but I guess its better than saying learn forward on steep stuff.
@@Bloody_Nora yeah, I still bear the mental and physical scars from learning. I think some people are just naturals and some of us have to work (and think) a lot harder at these things :)
Next time you ride that little drop at the end, think about how it feels and I bet you find that you 'push' into it.
I don't think I'll ever be as good as you lot but I'll keep trying :)
Good afternoon riding , Giorgio just kept on progressing and getting the features ticked off 👍
He sure did 👌
