This has been the most helpful video I have found so far! Thank you for helping my sanity!! I do have a question though please. I keep finding my last hooks have multiple loops on them when I do panels. Sometimes 3 or 4! And then my yarn cant fit under the hook any more and I get cross and take the knitting off. Does anybody know why I might be getting this please? Hoping somebody knows! Thank you ❤️ And thank you again for the video! ❤
Thank you very much. I hope someone can answer your questions, I certainly have no idea. I've never seen that before. I will pin this comment hoping someone can help.
This happens to me too - I think it happens because the stitches aren't fully down on the edge needles, OR because I'm actually holding the tension too tight when I do the edge stitches. It is fixable, but it's fiddly and awkward. If you look up "bunched stitches on a Sentro", you'll see an example of how to fix it. Good luck! :)
I've also realised something - the stitches need to be right down at the bottom, not just "not at the top" I think I was leaving several of my stitches just partway down, thinking that if they weren't at the top, it would be fine.
You have save my mind from being destroyed by this machine, and casting on a panel and keeping it going without loosing the ends , or the ends ending up a messy knot , thank you so much.
This has got to be one of the best videos for learning flat panels. I cannot get the hang of it, but this is nice and slow and thorough so think I'll be watching this a few times. Thank you so much for explaining things so well.
THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!! This is the first video of many I’ve watched that actually has shown me how to make sure I’m not dropping stitches and I’m using my machine right! AND IT MAKES SENSE!!! Thank you so much I’m excited to finally make some proper panels!

Thank you so much for this awesome video. After watching your video (a few times) I made my first panel last night and realized what I doing wrong or what the machine is doing wrong 🤣. Thank you SO MUCH. I got my sentro 3 days ago and having been trying to figure out panels all day and night since. Best video ive found and I finally got it!!

I don't know how to thank you because I spent days trying to do this until I give up, but suddenly I decided to watch one last video, and here is where I started knitting while I watch your video and it worked for the first time 😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for sharing this tutorials! I just purchased a Sentro 48 needle machine. So this video is wonderful and clear instructions are easy to follow. Thanks again. I will be certainly be viewing more of your videos.
I started using this just recently because my daughter keep growing out of the clothes before I can finish making them by hand. So i got the sentro and it’s just the thing I needed. Mine doesn’t have the issue with it not pushing down once I get a few rows in
I figured this out too myself that my tension on the ends has to be tighter. Then I saw your video and it confirmed what I was doing. One side of stitches always looks beautiful the other side is crooked. I am going to get this I keep practicing. I know the machine will behave once I finally get it. I think the machine eventually loosens up with work in it repeatedly. It's kinda of stuff because it's brand new.
@@BeyondtheLens53 I finally mastered it! Had ti watch you video and others. Took pieces of tips from one video and added the tips and it clicked! Thanks

@@BeyondtheLens53 ❤ I've been so apprehensive about doing a panel. I thought, it doesn't stop before the white peg. When you mentioned those extra 2 pegs don't pick up the yarn, I was happily surprised.
@@BeyondtheLens53 I hear that lol I used to be a knitter and crocheter but I've had 3 strokes so my left hand (dominant) has a hard time and it takes too long. So I got the Sentro and several looms which helps me continue to do something I love! ❤
