Bait pump maintenance - flip flop method

Been keeping myself busy whilst lockdown. After sorting all my fishing gear i have literally run out of ideas on what to do next ? So decided to give bait pumps a well needed service.
Been using this flip flop method for a while now and i prefer them to silicone rubber and works a treat.
Any other suggestions, tips and tricks welcome.

Hi little tip don't take the first nut up as far then you won't have so much thread through your wing nut, I also use a stainless steel lock nut to replace wing nut stop's it coming loose when pumping, stay safe enjoy your video's 🦈

Repaied the stopper after this video made I've noticed the wing nut was sitting too far in so I've adjusted the first nut and it sits perfect. Thanks for the tips and watching the video 👍

I believe u can get black lugs at where I get my worms but u need to walk good mile or 2 to get to them and it's a dangerous mark lots of gulleys

What diameter pump should i get for blow lug

It's all depend on how experience on pumping worms mate, I would say 30mm is good, I've got 25mm 30mm and 50mm but I prefer 30mm one, 25 and 30mm ones custom made ones. 👍
