WOW! i saw this when i was 5 and only once, that was 1983. i remember Scrooge pouring a beer beside his bed and the ghost that set the curtains on fire. i laughed my ass off. and have looked for this show ever since. now 40 years later i sit here able to enjoy it again. Thanks.
My Dad played the man drinking beer out of the stein glass, he died of bowel cancer in 2017- Thanks for the memories, thanks for Rich Little bringing the show to Vancouver, British Columbia Canada filmed at the old CBC building.
Back to watch my favorite version of A Christmas Carol and saw your comment. I'm so sorry for the loss of your dad. Rich Little, and your dad, have brought me joy and laughter every year (save the few it took me to find it online) for the last 40 years! Just wanted you to know there are still people out here watching it with you 😊 And I hope you have a Very Merry Christmas🌲
So sorry for you loss...I lost my Dad this past May due to a fall and this is my first Christmas without him, I lost Mom thirty years ago to cancer.....I remember watching this with him and Mom on HBO as a boy, it holds up so well and has so much more heart than most versions....so many good memories! Merry Christmas!
They aired this on HBO Christmas of 1982... my aunt recorded it onto vhs and I borrowed that tape for 30 years, watching this every Christmas I had it 😊 Gave it back to her 5 years ago and have really missed it!! Thank you for sharing!!
Just finished watching it for the 45th consecutive year. HBO, VHS, DVD, and now RUclips. Met him in Manasquan NJ in 2015 after one of his shows. My dad, me, and now my son.
I remember seeing this several times in the late 70s. Now I'm old enough to actually recognize most of the people he's imitating, I am glad to find it again.
I remember this movie, my parents liked it and me and some of the family watched it. I was little in the 70s, but now its more funny to me. Brings back memories when i was little
Having Peter Falk's Coilumbo, Peter Sellers' Clouseau and Bogart's Sam Spade all together, in conjunction with Truman Capote, is very "Murder by Death."
He has been a favorite of mine for years Rich Little could crack you up with his wit and his voices,he's one crazy guy Lon Chaney Jr. Was the man of a 1000 faces Rich is the man of a 1000 voices and the best
It’s funny…my Dad watched this every year while I was growing up. When I was little, I used to think it was a little bit on the boring side. I guess I didn’t really understand the humor. Now that I’m older…it’s funny as anything 😀😀😀
So many good memories of watching this years ago with my parents, both of whom have gone to heaven now....thanks so much for posting!

One of the best Carol I ever seen but I believe Mr Dickens is rolling over in his grave
2 minutes was ENOUGH for me!!

Rich Little is incredible! 🎄✨️☃️
So gawdaful it's beautiful.
This was back when comedians and actors actually had talent.
Truman Capote as Tiny Tim...😂
I'm here from the Movin' Right Along Muppet podcast. Just commenting to see if I'm alone.

Too bad the video entirely skips the first song, which is a main part of the magic I remember from childhood. How can you skip the song??
You ruined a beautiful video cutting tons of parts out
lmao wow this is terrible
I remember RL and his impressions but not this show.
