Saw him sing at a jam in Dec. Was deja vu for real. He's very much his own guy, but he's definitely got that Bradley spirit and presence. Sounded just like some of my favorite Sublime bootleg recordings I used to listen to. I felt hopeful about things that night.
It’s absolutely mind blowing to see this happen. I remember 25 years ago when I started really getting into sublime I always dreamed that someday Jakob could step into his father’s role. It’s absolute poetry to see this happen. It gives a lot of us diehard fans a small bit of closure to the tragedy that happened in 1996. I’m happy for this young man and I hope he doesn’t get too bothered by never being able to be mentioned without his dad being brought up too.
There are so many Sublime songs for the short period of time Brad was here and everyone of them is amazing, Bradley was a prodigy. For an example....Slow ride!! An amazing original song with an old school reggae rock groove. That's just one of 100 underrated Sublime songs you don't hear anymore.

Sublime is an amazing band and I’m so glad there are still people like his kiddos who are trying to keep things rolling sublime just never got the jump off. It needed back in The day let’s hope that happens again not that I haven’t seen a lot of people try to sing or resurrect. Some of that music but sublime should’ve been playing concerts at every venue around the globe they had a sound. It was resonating in a lot more ears than I think, was given credit for or put you know Alta in the universe that it was just that powerful of a sound 40 ounces to freedom is the only album, my own, where 3 to 4 different distinct styles of music are blended in and out of an entire album.🎉
Saw him in Denver a few weeks ago. This would've been epic to be surprised with. 🤫 Don't tell us publicly just surprise those fortunate souls who get tickets to that show
