I wanted the Sony A7R5 but that A7CR stole my heart. Got it. Now my a6700 has a big brother. I use both, love both. So small, so light. My A7R3 is heavy in comparison.
I have couble of A7iv and Am really Happy.. I start With sony sence 2012 5N.. never use any but sony Cameras.. such a pleasure to get one of these Gear, Good luck Bro and you'll never regret.. and Welcome to the Club..!!!
Hey brother! Just found your channel! I've been a sony user for a long time and really want to upgrade soon 🙈 Congratulations on your new camera and wishing you all the best on your journey!
Bro I was thinking of going this way for my bcam but I realized it would be the best fit. I’m looking to get second camera that does great photo and good video as a secondary. Looking at picking the a7iv.
R5 is my Photo-beast Red Gemini 5k is vid beast and if I need a B-cam I shoot R5 to Ninja v-plus in Clog 2 at 5k60p!!!!! (choose crop mode in camera it is clog 2 NOT clog3 but only the NINJA shows this) makes it a nice S35 B-cam. LOW LIGHT my Gemini has a second base of 3200 so keep in mind I am DOP low light TO ME is bright room to NORMAL people... I shoot lit narrative so 3200 is crazy high. KEEP your R5 for photo (at least) and treat your new Sony like I treat my Gemini
Right!!!! Low light is definitely what others consider a bright room!!! I can’t keep my R5 though because I can’t afford to split glass between my cameras on this point in my career. But I agree that my R5 is awesome when it comes to video. Part of me wants to keep my R5 but I need a good bcam that I don’t have to spend time color matching. Does that make sense? I appreciate what you shared here. It makes sense though.
@@DanielJMadden I think it depends what you want to do. Sensors are like film stock from back in the day and they all have their uses. I think if you want real cinematic look that doesn't come with the red 'overly clean' image and massive files sizes and spend less money than the FX3 then the XH2S is for you. Very easy to grade too imo, just rec709 and done!!!
What camera do you use right now or what camera do you have your eye on?
I have a pair of the fx30 using curently, thinking of getting an additional fx3 or black magic kinda unsure

Happy to be here man! I am thinking of picking up the a7iv as a B-Cam. How do you like your a7ivs?
I made the switch in 2017. Fx3 is a beast
I'm late to the game but you haven't been a good friend. You could have told me what I was missing lol

Appreciate you 🙏🏿 Looking forward to journeying with y’all as I use my camera. What camera do you shoot with now?
The way my man pushed the R5 box aside had 😢lol
FX3 is taking over...
🤣🤣🤣 I had to do it. FX3 works well for how I shoot
Bro so happy to see you excited about joining the Dark (read as "Low Light") Side 😂 Welcome to the Sony Gang bro
Lol! Thanks bro. It’s good to be here.
@@DanielJMadden also the way you dropped out the audio on "Sorry Canon" just to make sure they felt it 😂😂 Love it
Just pulled the trigger and got the A7cR 😁 it’s been a real treat 👍 hope your Sony serves you well too 🎉

broooooooo!!!!!!!! welcome to the club lets goooooo
I had mixed feeling until I saw what it did at ISO 12800 lol
@@DanielJMadden great choice
The Sony FX3 leaps and bounds over the Canon R5. It also depends on the lens you are using.
Leaps and bounds indeed!!! And yes the lens does make a difference. Are you on a FX cinema line system as well?

What about the Canon R5c ? Would that have not fixed the issue ?
Great question. The highest you can go is 3200 as a base iso with R5c vs 12800, not thousand like I said in the video lol
Camera is a beast literally
Quite literally
Happy for you man, lmao but it’s 12,800 not 128,000😂😂😂that would be the best low light camera on earth
Yeah, I only realized after I had posted this that that’s what I said. 😅 but I would love that camera lol
I was confused about 128k and was about to ask lol. Definitely 12,800 makes huge step up for low light video 😍
@@DenisJosifoski lol wishing thinking and a slip of the tongue is all it was 😅
You should of looked at the FujiFilm XH2S.....,
Yeah I have a friend of mine that keeps saying this to me. I might have to do that. Why do you suggest it?
