using it myself its an interesting lens... it kind of got between my decisions of considering an APSC camera such as Fuji and the experience there. Using this on my A7IV especially at night was a fun adventure. i think the 4.5 aperture works well at city streets and if anything it makes configuring settings around it easy (its just shutter and auto ISO) . There are def some issues depending on where the direct lights end up but its workable, and the diffusion of the lens almost creates no need for a mist filter. This could be the Creative style/profile picture mode lens people are looking for, a fun lens for fun moments and create styles. In some ways you can say this is a $60 AF full frame lens with a $40 mist filter combined. With the lightweight its an easy contender for any creative to pickup and play around with day to day and softens any Sony camera's "sharp" perspective. I wouldn't be surprised to see more AF Focal length variants of lenses like this in the future. Also i was able to update this lens via usb-c cable to my iPhone, may seem off beat, but that's another cool feature to have under its belt.

Nice review, Daniel! I was curious to see how it performs in some scenarios. Question: Since you need to open the "cap" before mounting it to the camera, does this mean it stays open all the time while on the camera, or just when the camera is turned on?

Today I left my badge and office keys on my desk and emailed my resignation letter after my shift. In the letter I asked to mail my check to my address (even though I filed a direct deposit) two days prior). I will mail them my parking pass and make sure to have them sign it. However, I received a voicemail stating to come into the office and sign a formal resignation letter in order for them to release my check. Seriously? I choose to be at peace with all this.
